Michael Walker is a Paralympic athlete who won five gold medals representing Great Britain. Walker won gold in four category C4 track and field events at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul, South Korea: the shot put, the discus, the club throw and the javelin. [1] He retained the shot put title in Barcelona 1992. [2]
Australia has participated officially in every Paralympic Games since its inauguration in 1960 except for the 1976 Winter Paralympics.

Following a medical review request in early 2017, she now competes in seated throws in the F32 classification. At the 2017 Australian Athletics Championships she threw 7.04m in the Women's Shot Put Secured event, bettering the Women's F32 shot put world record mark of 6.55m.
Darren Brian Thrupp, OAM is an Australian Paralympic athlete competing mainly in category T37 sprint events. He has won nine medals at six Paralympics.

Russell Luke Short, OAM is an Australian legally blind athlete, who has competed at eight Paralympics from 1988 to 2016 and won six gold, two silver and four bronze medals at the Games. He competes in discus, javelin, and shot put.

Noel Thatcher is a British Paralympic runner who represented the United Kingdom at six Paralympic Games between 1984 and 2004, collecting a total of five gold medals. His two career highlights are winning gold and setting a world record at Barcelona in 1992, and winning the 5k race in Sydney in 2000, again setting a world record. At the 2004 Games in Athens, he carried the flag for the Great Britain team at the opening ceremony.
