In 2016, Gyurta became a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), he is a member of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) Athletes' Commission since 2013 and a member of the Athletes Commission since 2016.
Vladislav Vitalyevich Polyakov is a Kazakhstani swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He swam for his native Kazakhstan at three Olympic Games, and eventually finished fifth in both 100 and 200 m breaststroke at his official Olympic debut in Athens. In total, he has won eight medals in major international tournaments, including his first career gold from the 2006 FINA World Short Course Championships in Shanghai, China. While residing in the United States, Polyakov is a five-time SEC champion, a double NCAA titleholder, and a two-time gold medalist at the national championships. He also earned a total of twelve All-American titles while playing for the Alabama Crimson Tide from 2003 to 2007.

He is a four-time Olympian, a multiple-time Lithuanian record holder in the men's breaststroke, and a double swimming champion in the same discipline at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, China. Titenis is also a member of Anykščiai Swimming Club, and is coached and trained by Žilvinas Ovsiukas.

Laurent Carnol is a Luxembourgish swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. Carnol set national records of 1:01.39 and 2:09.78 in the men's breaststroke at the 2010 European Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, and at the 2012 European Long Course Meet in Luxembourg City, respectively. Carnol is also a member of SC Le Dauphin Ettelbruck under his personal coach Ian Armiger, and currently, a chemistry student at Loughborough University in Leicestershire, England.
Choi Kyu-Woong is a South Korean swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He shared silver medals with China's Xue Ruipeng in the 200 m breaststroke at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, in a time of 2:12.25. He also collected two medals in both 100 and 200 m breaststroke at the 2009 East Asian Games in Hong Kong, China. Choi is a member of the swimming team at the Korea National Sport University in Seoul, under his personal coach Lee Woo-Shin.
Sergiu Postică is a Moldovan former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He is a two-time Olympian and a multiple-time Moldovan record holder in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke.
Wang Wei-wen is a Taiwanese swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He represented the Chinese Taipei national team in two editions of the Olympic Games, and has won a career total of eight gold medals in national and regional meets across Taiwan.
Aleksandr Baldin is an Estonian former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He is a 15-time long-course Estonian swimming champion in the breaststroke, and a member of SK Garant in Tallinn, under the tutelage of his personal coach Dmitri Kapelin. Baldin also represented his nation Estonia in a breaststroke double at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
Jaclyn Pangilinan is a Filipino-American former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. She is a two-time Filipino record holder, a four-time Ivy League champion in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke, and a multiple-time medalist at the Southeast Asian Games. Born to a Filipino father, and an American mother, Pangilinan holds a dual citizenship to compete collegiately and internationally in swimming.
Han Kyu-chul is a South Korean former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle, butterfly, and individual medley events. He is a two-time Olympian, and an eight-time bronze medalist at the Asian Games.
Imaday Núñez González is a Cuban former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. She won a total of three medals in the breaststroke and medley relay at the 1998 Central American and Caribbean Games in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
Ben-Rachmiel Labowitch is a New Zealand former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. Since his mother is a New Zealand citizen, Labowitch claims a dual citizenship which allowed him to try out and make the New Zealand Olympic team. Labowitch is also a former member of North Shore Swim Club under his coach Thomas Ensorg, and a graduate of Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, where he played for the Drury Panthers.
Daniel Tam Chi-kin is a Hong Kong former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. He is a two-time Olympian, and a double finalist in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea. Tam is a member of the swimming team for SLA Sports Club, and is trained by an Australian-born coach Anthony Giorgi.
Andrey Morkovin is an Uzbek former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. Morkovin qualified for the men's 200 m breaststroke at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by clearing a FINA B-cut of 2:18.76 from the Russian Open Championships in Moscow. He challenged seven other swimmers in heat two, including dual citizen Mihail Alexandrov of Bulgaria. He raced to fifth place by seven tenths of a second (0.70) behind Algeria's Sofiane Daid in 2:18.48. Morkovin failed to advance into the semifinals, as he placed thirty-fourth overall in the preliminaries.
Anton Kramarenko is a Kyrgyz former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. Kramarenko qualified for the men's 200 m breaststroke at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by clearing a FINA B-cut of 2:20.57 from the Kazakhstan Open Championships in Almaty. He challenged six other swimmers in heat one, including two-time Olympian Malick Fall of Senegal. He rounded out the field to last place in 2:28.59, nearly 10 seconds behind winner Bradley Ally of Barbados. Kramarenko failed to advance into the semifinals, as he placed forty-sixth overall in the preliminaries.
Ratapong "Nuk" Sirisanont is a Thai former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke, but also competed in long-distance freestyle and individual medley. He is a four-time Olympian, a three-time Asian Games participant, and a seven-time SEA Games athlete (1991–2003). Regarded as Thailand's top swimmer, he has won a total of sixteen medals at the Southeast Asian Games since 1995, and six at the Asian Games, including two golds in the 200 and 400 m individual medley. At the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Sirisanont became the first Thai swimmer to reach the final twice. Sirisanont is also one of three Southeast Asian swimmers, along with Malaysia's Alex Lim and Philippines' Miguel Molina, to train for the California Golden Bears in the United States, under head coach Nort Thornton.
