Michel Bletterman (born 14 February 1992) is a former Dutch male artistic gymnast, representing the Netherlands at international competitions. [1] [2] He competed at world championships, including the 2010 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. [3] He was reserve for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. [4] [5] [6] Daniël Knibbeler is his personal coach [7] and Mitch Fenner is Bletterman's national team coach. [2]

Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which gymnasts perform individually or in groups on a floor with an apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon and rope. The sport combines elements of gymnastics, dance and calisthenics; gymnasts must be strong, flexible, agile, dexterous and coordinated. Rhythmic gymnastics is governed by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), which first recognized it as a sport in 1963. At the international level, rhythmic gymnastics is a women-only sport.
The International Gymnastics Federation is the body governing competition in all disciplines of gymnastics. Its headquarters is in Lausanne, Switzerland. It was founded on 23 July 1881 in Liège, Belgium, making it the world's oldest existing international sports organisation. Originally called the European Federation of Gymnastics, it had three member countries—Belgium, France and the Netherlands—until 1921, when non-European countries were admitted and it received its current name.

Epke Jan Zonderland is a Dutch artistic gymnast and the 2012 Olympic gold medallist on high bar. He is a 4-time Olympian (2008–20) and has also taken 3 World Championships golds on high bar at the 2013, 2014 and 2018 World Championships, the first man to secure this feat on that apparatus. He is nicknamed "The Flying Dutchman.”
Qualification for gymnastics events at the 2012 Summer Olympics was based on the results of the three world gymnastics championships held in autumn 2011, and Olympic Test Events to be held in January 2012 at the North Greenwich Arena. In addition, the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique and the IOC Tripartite Commission for Gymnastics allocated places to ensure certain minimum levels of representation.

Dipa Karmakar is an Indian former artistic gymnast. She is the first Indian female gymnast to compete at the Olympic Games. At the 2016 Olympics, in the vault event, she missed a medal by just 0.15 points. Karmakar is one of only five women in the world to have mastered the Produnova vault. In 2024, she announced her retirement from gymnastics.
Sanne Wevers is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She is the 2016 Olympic champion on the balance beam and was the first Dutch female gymnast to become an Olympic champion in an individual event. She is the 2018 and 2023 European champion on the balance beam. She is also the 2015 World and 2021 European silver medalist on the balance beam and the 2015 European bronze medalist on the uneven bars. She was a member of the Dutch team that won the bronze medal at the 2018 and 2023 European Championships.
Lieke Wevers is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She was the first Dutch woman to win a European title in gymnastics: at the 2015 European Games, she won the gold medal on the balance beam and was the bronze medalist with the Dutch team, in the individual all-around, and on floor exercise. She competed at the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Summer Olympics, qualifiying for the all-around finals in 2020.
Eythora Elisabet Thorsdottir is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics where she finished ninth in the individual all-around. At the 2017 European Championships, she won a silver medal on balance beam and a bronze medal on floor exercise. She is also the 2019 European floor exercise silver medalist and the 2023 European bronze medalist with the Dutch team.
Tisha Manouk Gijs Volleman is a Dutch artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. She won a bronze medal with the Dutch team at the 2018 European Championships. She represented the Netherlands at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Nina Derwael is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic champion, a two-time World champion, and a two-time European champion on the uneven bars. She is the 2019 European Games champion on the balance beam, as well as a two-time Belgian national all-around champion.
Frank Rijken is a Dutch artistic gymnast. He represented the Netherlands at the 2016 and 2024 Summer Olympics.
Casimir Schmidt is a Dutch artistic gymnast. He won the silver medal on the vault at the 2015 European Games. He is a four-time Dutch national all-around champion. He represented the Netherlands at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
FIG World Cup refers to a number of events organized by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) across seven competitive gymnastics disciplines: 1) acrobatic gymnastics, 2) aerobic gymnastics, 3) men's artistic gymnastics, 4) women's artistic gymnastics, 5) women's rhythmic gymnastics, 6) trampoline and tumbling, and 7) parkour.
Vera Dorothea Wilhelmina van Pol is a Dutch artistic gymnast. She represented the Netherlands at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She won a bronze medal with the Dutch team at the 2018 European Championships. She is the 2015 and 2018 Dutch all-around champion. She competed at the 2013, 2014, 2018, and 2021 World Championships.

Loran de Munck is a Dutch artistic gymnast. At the 2022 European Championships, he became the first Dutch gymnast to win a European medal on the pommel horse. He is also the 2024 European pommel horse silver medalist and a 2024 Olympic finalist on the same apparatus.
Jermain Grünberg is a Dutch artistic gymnast. He represented the Netherlands at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
