Michel Cormier (born May 28, 1974) is a National Hockey League linesman, who wears uniform number 76.
Growing up, Cormier played junior ice hockey before ending his career with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). However, after ending his playing career he wished to return as a linesman. After only a few years refereeing, Cormier was hired by the QMJHL as a linesman. [1] After officiating the 2003 World Junior Hockey Championship [2] and the Memorial Cup, he was offered a full-time position as a National Hockey League (NHL) referee. [3] He officiated his first career NHL game on October 10, 2003, in a game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Los Angeles Kings. [4] His first time officiating an NHL Playoff Game was on April 22, 2006, between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils. [5] On December 2, 2018, Cormier officiated his 1,000th regular season NHL game. [6]

Joseph Luc Bourdon was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League from 2006 until 2008. After overcoming childhood arthritis, he was selected third overall in the 2003 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) draft and played for the Val-d'Or Foreurs, Moncton Wildcats, and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, spending four seasons in the QMJHL. The Canucks drafted Bourdon with their first selection, tenth overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, and he split his professional career with the Canucks and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Manitoba Moose. Noted as a strong defenceman who could contribute on offence, Bourdon represented Canada in three international tournaments, winning two gold medals at the IIHF World U20 Championship and a silver medal at the IIHF World U18 Championship. Bourdon died at the age of 21 near his hometown of Shippagan, New Brunswick, when his motorcycle collided with a tractor trailer.

William McCreary is a former National Hockey League referee. Before retiring in 2011, McCreary officiated 1,737 regular season games, 297 playoff games, and one NHL All-Star Game. McCreary has been wearing uniform number 7 since the 1994–95 NHL season and has been wearing a helmet for most of his refereeing career. He worked fifteen Stanley Cup Finals, the 1991 Canada Cup, the 1996 World Cup of Hockey and the 1998 Nagano Olympics, where he officiated the Gold Medal game won by the Czech Republic.

He was selected by the Maple Leafs in the first round, 21st overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft after spending three Rimouski Océanic in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Gauthier became a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization following the 2014–15 season. During his developmental years with the Maple Leafs American Hockey League affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, he helped them clinch their first Calder Cup in franchise history.

In the summer of 1999, during a camp held by Ron Fournier, he told RDS that his goal was to make it to the NHL. Said to have "an exceptional talent", he became a Level VI referee in the Hockey Canada Officiating Program during a seminar in November 2001, held in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

After playing major junior hockey with the Shawinigan Cataractes, Girard was drafted 47th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He remained on the Predators roster until the 2017–18 season when he was dealt alongside Vladislav Kamenev and a 2018 second round pick, in a three-team trade to the Colorado Avalanche, in exchange for Kyle Turris from the Ottawa Senators on November 5, 2017.
