The Moodists were an Australian post-punk band. They were formed in late 1980 by Dave Graney on lead vocals, Clare Moore on drums and Steve Miller on guitar, all from punk group the Sputniks. They added bass guitarist Chris Walsh in early 1981, and in April 1983 added guitarist Mick Turner. They issued their sole studio album, Thirsty's Calling, in April 1984. Turner left in January 1985 and the group disbanded in 1987.
Government Issue was an American hardcore punk band from Washington, D.C. active from 1980 to 1989. The band experienced many changes in membership during its nine-year existence, with singer John Stabb as the only consistent member in an ever-fluctuating lineup that at various times included notable musicians Brian Baker, Mike Fellows, Steve Hansgen, J. Robbins, and Peter Moffett. Government Issue originated from the Washington, D.C. hardcore scene but added elements of heavy metal, new wave, and psychedelic rock on later records. Though this has caused the band to be sometimes overlooked in relation to other Washington, D.C. hardcore acts, their stylistic diversity made them influential to later punk rock groups. Government Issue performed occasional reunion shows in the 2000s and 2010s with various lineups, until Stabb's death from stomach cancer in 2016.
The Innocence Mission is an American indie folk band formed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1986. The band is composed of Karen Peris, her husband Don Peris, and Mike Bitts. Although all members of the band have contributed to their music, Karen Peris is their main writer.
Career Suicide is a Canadian hardcore punk band formed in 2001 in Toronto. The band's first live performance took place in January 2002, with first recorded output soon to follow. The band has gone on to record several full-length albums and singles on various international labels. The band has completed multiple tours of North America, Europe and Japan and continues to record and tour actively. Guitarist Jonah Falco and former bassist Mike Haliechuk also play drums and guitar, respectively, in the band Fucked Up. Career Suicide are known for having an old school 1980s hardcore sound.
The Cinematics were an alternative rock band founded in 2003 in Glasgow, Scotland, and disbanded in 2011. The band released two full-length albums, A Strange Education (2007) and Love and Terror (2009), as well as a five-track EP, "Silent Scream EP" (2010), but disbanded in the middle of recording their third full-length album. The band consisted of Scott Rinning, Ramsay Miller, Adam Goemans and Ross Bonney with Larry Reid joining the band in 2008.
This Providence was a four-piece alternative rock band from Seattle, Washington, United States. The band consisted of Dan Young, David Blaise (bass), Gavin Phillips, and Andy Horst (drums).
Armoured Angel were an Australian thrash and death metal band from Canberra, which formed in 1982 as Metal Asylum. The band's founding mainstay, Glen "Lucy" Luck provided bass guitar. They pushed the musical boundaries of the local thrash metal scene and were pioneers of Australian death metal. The group also helped establish Australia's metal festival, Metal for the Brain in 1991. They issued a studio album, Angel of the Sixth Order, in July 1999 before disbanding soon after.
Wayne Paul Connolly is an Australian musician, record producer and audio engineer. From 1991 to 1997 Connolly provided lead guitar and vocals in guitar pop group the Welcome Mat, with whom he released two studio albums. In 1994, he formed Knievel with Tracy Ellis and Nick Kennedy, which issued four studio albums. Knievel achieved high rotation on national youth radio Triple J, they toured locally and internationally, and supported performances by Luna, Teenage Fanclub, Death Cab for Cutie and The Pernice Brothers.
Controlling the Famous was a Los Angeles, California-based indie rock band formed in 2001. After signing with The Militia Group, the band recorded the album Automatic City, which was released on May 16, 2006. The band split up in 2007.
"Dimension" is a song by Australian hard rock band Wolfmother. Written by band members Andrew Stockdale, Chris Ross, and Myles Heskett, it was produced by Dave Sardy for the group's self-titled debut album in 2005. The song was also released as the third single from the album on 17 April 2006, and as the lead track on the EP Dimensions. The song reached number 38 on the Scottish Singles Chart, number 49 on the UK Singles Chart and number 1 on the UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart.

Exit Clov is a five-piece indie rock band from Washington, DC, whose sound is often described as “kaleidoscopic pop noir". The group features twin sisters Emily Hsu and Susan Hsu along with Aaron Leeder (guitar), Brett Niederman (bass), and John Thayer (drums). The name of the group is derived from Samuel Beckett's Endgame, although they admit that it was the only work of Beckett's that they had read at the time they selected the name.
Porter Block is an American, New York-based power pop band, formed by Peter Block and Caleb Sherman. Since 2006, the band has released five albums and one EP, including several collaborations with Mike Viola.
