The Midwest Reggae Fest is a three-day reggae event held at Clay's Park Resort in North Lawrence, Ohio. It is an annual event and today the event has completed 30 years. The festival features three days of live reggae bands along with numerous food vendors, vendors of Caribbean fashions and accessories, camping, free canoeing, swimming, water rides, and various other outdoor activities and entertainment. PrideFest (Denver)

PrideFest is an annual Gay pride event held each June in Denver, honoring the culture and heritage of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community in the State of Colorado. The first Denver PrideFest occurred in 1976, the same year the local community center, now known as the Center on Colfax, was founded. The Center organizes and produces the festival and parade each year. The event currently consists of a two-day festival at Civic Center Park, the Pride 5K, and culminates with a parade along Colfax Avenue. Denver PrideFest now draws 525,000 guests annually, making it the third largest pride festival and seventh largest pride parade in the United States.

The Hessler Street Fair was an annual arts and music festival held the first weekend after Memorial Day on the historical wood-block-paved Hessler Road, in the University Circle neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Bureaucratic difficulty in securing permits and event insurance were among reasons for the long-running free festival's end in 2019.

Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival

The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival is the largest and longest-running showcase of domestic sheep and wool in the United States. The 2010 festival was the 37th consecutive. It is held at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship, Maryland.

New Center Park

The New Center Park is a park that was added to serve as a gathering place and which hosts a summer long series of weekly events held in the New Center area. It includes outdoor movies and concerts, happy hour, summer Jazz, and regular events for families and children. It began as TastFest, then became the annual five-day CityFest food festival that occurs near Independence Day weekend in the New Center district of Detroit, Michigan. It has since become a summer long affair with the advent called "New Center Park" after the park's name. The New Center Council has constructed a center stage with a 1,000-person outdoor concert venue capable of hosting national acts in the Park at W. Grand Boulevard and Second Ave along with a 5,000 sq ft (460 m2). outdoor patio.

The Ottawa Reggae Festival was a volunteer driven music festival held annually from 2008 to 2010 at Le Breton Flats Park, Ottawa. The festival was cancelled in 2010, its third year due to the financial troubles of the festival's president, Benjamin Williams.

Jacksonville Jazz Festival

The Jacksonville Jazz Festival is a weekend celebration of jazz in Jacksonville, Florida. Admission is free with the exception of VIP areas, and events and performances take place throughout downtown venues.

McGillivray Pass is a mountain pass in the Pacific Ranges of southwestern British Columbia, Canada, located about 30 miles west of the town of Lillooet and immediately west of the upper end of Anderson Lake, above the former resort community of McGillivray. The pass connects the head of McGillivray Creek with the head of Standard Creek, a tributary of Cadwallader Creek and was used as a route by prospectors, miners and hunters heading for the upper Bridge River Country beyond the pass. The pass was proposed at one time for a cog railway to connect the mines at Bralorne and Pioneer with the Pacific Great Eastern Railway (now part of CN but the project never went forward. There are private ski cabins near the summit area of the pass, which is the division between the Bendor Range to the east and the Cadwallader Range to the west.

Brooklyn Book Festival

The Brooklyn Book Festival is an annual book fair held in the fall in Brooklyn, New York. It was begun in 2006 by Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, co-producers Liz Koch and Carolyn Greer who wanted to showcase the "Brooklyn voice" in literature, as numerous authors reside in the borough. In subsequent years the fair has expanded its scope and hosted many non-Brooklyn and international writers, including Joan Didion, Dennis Lehane, John Reed, Rosanne Cash, Salman Rushdie, Karl Ove Knausgård and Dave Eggers.

The Rock N Resort Music Festival was an annual, three-day music festival in mid-July hosted and produced by Clay's Park Resort in North Lawrence, Ohio, 50 miles (80 km) south of Cleveland. The festival showcased national recording artists, tribute bands, indie artists and solo performers on multiple stages, covering a variety of musical styles, though primarily reflecting a classic rock theme. Other events held during the festival included drum circles, campsite contests, new musical product demonstrations, educational seminars for young musicians, and charity events. Attendees say that aside from the music, the main draws of the festival are the party atmosphere and the friendships made by festival goers that met every year.

The Three Rivers Festival is an annual festival held in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The festival's run spans nine days in mid-July, starting on the first Friday after Independence Day. Beaches International Jazz Festival

The Beaches International Jazz Festival is a month-long music festival held each year in the lakeside Beaches community of Toronto in July. Originally started in 1989, it is now one of Canada's largest free jazz festivals with nearly 1,000,000 attendees, throughout its month-long span. The Festival takes place across a number of venues; stage concerts are held in several different parks within the area and also along a two kilometre stretch of the Beach mainstreet during StreetFest - Queen Street East. Every year, the Festival brings in internationally acclaimed jazz performers while also showcasing local talent, including "new generation" jazz musicians. The Festival now hires around 1000 artists per annum, including 50 bands for its "StreetFest" event along Queen Street East. The Festival offers concerts at various locations: the Woodbine Park Main Stage, Jimmie Simpson Park Main Stage, Big Band Stage, SING! A capella Stage. The Festival holds a Workshop and Lecture Series which varies each year and is programmed to appeal to both professional musicians and to the general jazz loving public.

Riot Fest Music festival

Riot Fest is an annual three-day music festival based in Chicago, Illinois, at Douglass Park. Riot Fest specializes in rock, punk, alternative rock, and hip hop. First started as a multi-venue festival in Chicago in 2005, Riot Fest has since become an outdoor festival starting in 2012, later expanding to Denver and Toronto until 2017. The festival is known for booking reunions, guest performances, and full album performances; it is also known as the one of the largest independently-owned music festivals in the United States.

Jaya Sri, are a Sri Lankan reggae duo consisting of Rohitha Jayalath and Rohan Jayalath, who are twins along with five more members to form full band. Considered as one of the most commercially successful music duos in Sri Lanka, Jaya Sri has received global success in many European countries particularly with their literal mixed reggae, hip hop style modern infusion in taking Western and Sinhala music.
