The Mijares or Millars (Spanish : Mijares, Catalan : Millars, Aragonese : Millars) is a river in Aragon and the Valencian Community, eastern Spain. It flows into the Mediterranean Sea between Almassora and Burriana. The Mijares River marks the southernmost limit of the Catalan Mediterranean System.
This river originates at a height of 1,600 m in the Sierra de Gúdar, Sistema Ibérico. It is 156 km long, with a 4,028 km2 wide basin and an average flow of 14.72 m3 per second at Cirat. This river is the main source of irrigation water for agriculture in the Plana Baixa comarca. [1]
The Ter is a river in Catalonia, Spain. It rises in the Ulldeter, a glacial cirque in the East Pyrenees, at an approximate elevation of 2,400 metres (7,900 ft). At heights of around 3,000 metres (9,800 ft), the nearby peaks bordering the Ulldeter—the Bastiments, the Gra de Fajol, and the Pic de la Dona—supply its headwaters. It is located in the valley that forms the Villahermosa River and is surrounded by high mountains, as well as irrigated orchards that its inhabitants have been cultivating throughout history. Its pleasant temperature and its beautiful landscapes mean that its population increases significantly in summer.

The Flamicell, or Flamisell is a river in the province of Pallars, Catalonia, Spain. It is 34 km long and is a tributary of the Noguera Pallaresa. This river is known for the variation in flow depending on the time of the year and the meteorological conditions. The flow is also very strong because it brings water from many different lakes, one of them being the Lake Gento. In 1937, the flow was so strong that it destroyed the hydroelectric station in Cabdella and brought to La Pobla de Segur a flow of 700 m³/s.
