Mikael Olander (born 11 June 1963) is a retired decathlete from Sweden, who finished in 17th place (7869 points) at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. He is a one-time national champion (1986) in the men's decathlon.
Olander was a member of the Louisiana State University track and field team.

The Snowshoe is a rare breed of domestic cat originating in the United States of America in the 1960s. The Snowshoe is a short-haired bicolour colourpoint breed. Snowshoes were first produced when a Siamese breeder's cat gave birth to three kittens with white feet. The breeder, Dorothy Hinds-Daugherty, then began a breeding program to produce what were originally called "Silver Laces", crossing the strangely marked Siamese cats with bicolour American Shorthair cats and other breeds. Despite having existed for 45 years, Snowshoes are rare due to the difficulty of reproducing the correct coat markings.
Diamond Rio is an American country music band. The band was founded in 1982 as an attraction for the Opryland USA theme park in Nashville, Tennessee, and was originally known as the Grizzly River Boys, then the Tennessee River Boys. It was founded by Matt Davenport, Danny Gregg, and Ty Herndon, the last of whom became a solo artist in the mid-1990s. After undergoing several membership changes in its initial years, the band consisted of the same six members from 1989 to 2022: Marty Roe, Gene Johnson, Jimmy Olander, Brian Prout (drums), Dan Truman (keyboards), and Dana Williams. After Prout and Johnson both departed in 2022, they were replaced by Micah Schweinsberg and Carson McKee respectively.

He played college football for the New Mexico State Aggies and was selected by the Chargers in the fifth round of the 1977 NFL draft. The 1922 Western State Normal Hilltoppers football team was an American football team that represented Western State Normal School during the 1922 college football season. William H. Spaulding left as the team's head coach after the 1921 season and was replaced by Milton Olander, who had played college football under Robert Zuppke at Illinois.
