Mike Church (born 1962) is an American radio and internet talk show host, and singer/songwriter.

The Mike Church Show was the first-ever produced talk show on Sirius Satellite Radio (now Sirius XM Radio). Prior to its cancellation in October, 2015, Church's show was the longest-running program on satellite radio. His final live show on Sirius XM aired on the morning of Tuesday, October 27, 2015. [ citation needed ] In 2011 Michael Dougherty, writing for The American Conservative , called Church "the most radical man on the radio". [1]

Church also created original conservative-themed parody songs, which include "Manuel Went Down To Georgia," "There's Democrats Somewhere" and "Obama," a take on the Toto song, "Rosanna", and "Mr. Jefferson", a rendition of the Simon & Garfunkel song, "Mrs. Robinson". His show was aired on SIRIUS XM Patriot, SIRIUS and XM channel 125 Monday through Friday from 6:00 am – 9:00 am Eastern time. [3] [4] Shows were generally aired live, with an occasional rebroadcast of a previous show. The show was also later rebroadcast on SIRIUS XM Patriot Plus, SIRIUS 816 and XM 138 (online only) from 12 midnight to 3 am Eastern time. [5] His show was broadcast live from self supported studios in Mandeville, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans. [6]

The Mike Church Band was a part of the show which providing conservative themed parody songs as comedic elements to the political/historical/topical discussions, most of which were aimed at the political left. Headed up by Mike Church, the band has released a albums including UnAmerican Idiots (2005), Libs on the Run (2007), and The White Album (2008).

Church is also the author, producer, and voice talent behind three documentaries:

Taken from source material, including personal letters, notes and transcripts of debates, the three documentaries portraying the Founding Fathers in their own words. The first two projects were originally audio only documentaries, while Spirit of '76 is animated. Church has adapted the Road to Independence into an animated feature, also.

Following the cancellation of his show on satellite radio, Church formed a new streaming online service, Veritas Radio Network, which carries a new version of his program as well as content from other hosts. The new network and programming launched on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

The three-hour show is hosted by Stephanie Miller and is syndicated by Westwood One. Voice artist Jim Ward formerly co-hosted the show and is a recurring guest. Miller is frequently joined on the air by executive producer Travis Bone and general manager Chris Lavoie. Specials was a part-time satellite radio channel which plays select special events and shows for Sirius and XM. When the channel was XM Live, some special events were broadcast in XM HD Surround, which was a 5.1 surround sound audio/CD quality stereo feed. XM Live broadcast musical events, concerts, sporting events, and weekly talk shows. Art Bell's Dark Matter was an American radio talk show hosted by broadcaster and author Art Bell. Dark Matter primarily focused on paranormal and scientific topics. The program was exclusive to Sirius XM Radio, a subscription-based satellite radio service. Dark Matter debuted on September 16, 2013, and aired live Monday through Thursday from 10 p.m. ET to 2 am. ET on Sirius XM Radio's Indie Talk Channel 104. Dark Matter was the first program hosted by Art Bell full-time since his departure from regularly hosting Coast to Coast AM in 2003. On November 4, 2013, Bell announced that he was abruptly ceasing the production and airing of Dark Matter following a dispute with Sirius XM Radio regarding Sirius XM customers experiencing technical difficulties streaming his show live via the Internet.
