Melvins are an American rock band formed in 1983 in Montesano, Washington. Their early work was key to the development of both grunge and sludge metal. Primarily a trio, they have also performed as a quartet, with either two drummers or two bassists. Since 1984, vocalist and guitarist Buzz Osborne and drummer Dale Crover have been constant members.

Kevin Rutmanis is an American bass guitarist. He is of Latvian descent. Before getting into music, he was a student teacher. In late 1985, along with his younger brother Sandris Rutmanis, Thor Eisentrager, and then Jayhawks drummer Norm Rogers, he started the band The Cows. After the dissolution of The Cows, Rutmanis was the bass guitar player for The Melvins from 1998 to 2005. He was also the bass guitarist in the supergroup Tomahawk featuring Mike Patton. Kevin played bass on Tomahawk's first two long play releases, titled Tomahawk and Mit Gas, and played for two world tours supporting those albums. He has since recorded with Hepa-Titus.
Tomahawk is an American rock supergroup. They formed in 1999 when singer/keyboardist Mike Patton met guitar player Duane Denison and the pair started swapping tapes with the intention of collaborating. Denison then recruited drummer John Stanier (Helmet), while Patton invited bass player Kevin Rutmanis (Melvins/ex-Cows). The group recorded three albums and toured extensively from 2000–2007 then went on extended hiatus, and reformed in 2013 with Trevor Dunn replacing Rutmanis.

Michael Allen Inez is an American rock musician who has been the bassist of Alice in Chains since 1993. He is also recognized for his work with Ozzy Osbourne from 1989 to 1993. Inez has also been associated with Slash's Snakepit, Black Label Society, Spys4Darwin, and Heart. He is of Filipino descent. Inez has earned seven Grammy Award nominations as a member of Alice in Chains.

Enemymine was a Washington-state-based indie rock band known for their very loud and abrasive music. The band consisted of three members; two bass guitarists and a drummer. Mike Kunka of godheadSilo played bass and provided vocals on all songs, while Zak Sally from Low also played bass and Danny Sasaki played drums. Ryan Baldoz replaced Sally on bass on "The Ice in Me." Enemymine has played shows with Jucifer, Melvins, Mindless Self Indulgence, Burning Brides, the Rapture, Melt Banana, among others. Before breaking up, the band released a self-titled EP on K Records and a full-length, 'The Ice in Me' on Up Records.
"Gypsy" is the debut single by British progressive rock/hard rock band Uriah Heep. It is the opening track on their first album, …Very 'Eavy …Very 'Umble, released in 1970. "Gypsy" was written by Mick Box and David Byron. The album version of "Gypsy" lasts more than six and half minutes, while the single version lasts less than three minutes. The song was also included on the band's first compilation album, The Best of Uriah Heep, and on two live albums, 1973's Uriah Heep Live and the later Live in Armenia. The song is structured with an intro, outro and three verses with no chorus, and uses only four chords: Cm, G#, G and C#-C.
godheadSilo is an American noise rock duo formed in Fargo, North Dakota, that later moved to Olympia, Washington, before disbanding and moving to different parts of the country. The duo is composed of bassist Mike Kunka and drummer Dan Haugh, who had grown up together in Fargo, North Dakota.
Three Men and a Baby is a collaborative studio album by Mike Kunka and American rock band Melvins, released on April 1, 2016 through Sub Pop. The album was mostly recorded in 1999 by Tim Green, but further production was delayed for over a decade. It was finished in 2015 with longtime Melvins associate Toshi Kasai engineering and mixing.
