The label specializes in noise rock and also released Strap It On, the debut album by alternative metal band Helmet which sold more than 40,000 records. Jason Charles Miller is an American musician, singer and songwriter known for his solo albums as well as being the lead vocalist and guitarist of the industrial rock band Godhead. He is a voice actor in various animation and video games. He is also part of the duo The Deadly Grind, and the duo RezoDrone. He has released solo albums in the country music, southern rock and Americana (music) genres.

Zak Sally is a bassist and a comic artist. He was formerly the bassist for the bands Low and Enemymine and is currently the singer and guitar player in The Hand. He is a native of Duluth, Minnesota, currently owns and operates his own press, La Mano, in Minneapolis. La Mano serves as a publisher for Sally's works as well as those of other comic artists including John Porcellino and William Schaff. Sally also had a cameo in the movie Shopgirl, as a member of the band Hot Tears. Sally is also a comics art professor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

Dead Low Tide was a short-lived rock band from Seattle, Washington. It featured singer Spencer Moody, guitarist Nate Manny, bassist Mike Kunka, and drummer Coady Willis.
Enemymine was a Washington-state-based indie rock band known for their very loud and abrasive music. The band consisted of three members; two bass guitarists and a drummer. Mike Kunka of godheadSilo played bass and provided vocals on all songs, while Zak Sally from Low also played bass and Danny Sasaki played drums. Ryan Baldoz replaced Sally on bass on "The Ice in Me." Enemymine has played shows with Jucifer, Melvins, Mindless Self Indulgence, Burning Brides, the Rapture, Melt Banana, among others. Before breaking up, the band released a self-titled EP on K Records and a full length, 'The Ice in Me' on Up Records.

"Gypsy" is the debut single by British progressive rock/hard rock band Uriah Heep. It is the opening track on their first album, …Very 'Eavy …Very 'Umble, released in 1970. "Gypsy" was written by Mick Box and David Byron. The B-side of the song in most countries was "Bird of Prey", though in others, the B-sides were "Wake Up ", "Come Away Melinda" and "Lady in Black". The album version of "Gypsy" lasts more than six and half minutes, while the single version lasts less than three minutes. The song was also included on the band's first compilation album, The Best of Uriah Heep, and on two live albums, 1973's Uriah Heep Live and the later Live in Armenia. The song is structured with an intro, outro and three verses with no chorus, and uses only four chords: Cm, G#, G and C#-C.
