Mike Malet (born February 28, 1948) is a former American football and lacrosse coach. He was the first head football coach for the Marist College football program when it was granted varsity status. [1] The Red Foxes program coached by Ron Levine existed from 1965 to 1977 on the club level. Malet finished his 11-year head football coaching career at Marist by passing the reins over to Rick Pardy with an overall record of 30–68.

Marist College is a private liberal arts college in Poughkeepsie, New York. Founded in 1905, Marist was formed by the Marist Brothers, a Catholic religious institute, to prepare brothers for their vocations as educators. In 1929, Marist became accredited by the state to offer a wider range of degrees in the arts and sciences. Today, Marist offers 56 undergraduate and graduate degree programs and 21 certificate programs.
The Poughkeepsie Regatta was the annual championship regatta of the U.S. Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) when it was held in Poughkeepsie, New York from 1895 to 1949.
The Red Foxes are the athletic teams of Marist College. The Marist Red Foxes compete in NCAA Division I athletics as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) the only exception being football, a member of the Pioneer Football League (PFL).
Brian Giorgis is the current head coach of the Marist Red Foxes women's basketball program. Giorgis completed his nineteenth season at the helm as head coach in 2021. His 250th career win at Marist, which came in March 2012, coincided with his players notching the Red Foxes' 7th Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) crown, and their eighth conference crown since 2004.

They finished the season 6–25, 4–14 in MAAC play to finish in a tie for tenth place. They lost in the first round of the MAAC Tournament to Fairfield.

This season marked the program's 38th Division I season and its 22nd consecutive year as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The team was led by first-year head coach John Dunne, who took the open head coaching position after spending the last 12 seasons at conference rival Saint Peter's University. They finished the 2018–19 season 12–19 overall, 7–11 in MAAC play to finish in eighth place. As the No. 8 seed in the 2019 MAAC Tournament, they were defeated by No. 9 seed Saint Peter's in the first round 68–71 in overtime.

Brian Colleary is an American former football coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York from 1979 to 1983, compiling a record of 26–21–2. Colleary was the athletic director at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York from 1985 to 1989 and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1989 to 2005. He graduated from Fordham University in 1974.
