Mike Robinson, Jr. (born December 31, 1976) is a retired American professional basketball player and a high school basketball coach. He played professionally for teams in the United States and Argentina.

Robinson graduated from Richwoods High School in Peoria, Illinois, as a three time all-state selection and the Gatorade Player of the Year for the Midwest in 1996. [1] Robinson would score 2,944 career points and play in the McDonald's All-American game.

Robinson attended Purdue University, when he played basketball on two Sweet 16 teams and one Elite 8 squad in March Madness during his four years. His college scoring total was 1,322. After graduating from Purdue, Robinson competed professionally both in the United States and Argentina. [2]

In 2018 Robinson won a state championship as a high school coach in Virginia, leading the South County Stallions to the Class 6 title. [3] Robinson is married to Michelle Duhart who played for the 1999 champion Purdue women's basketball team.

He served as the head basketball coach at Ball State University from 1930 to 1938 and at Indiana University Bloomington from 1938 to 1943 and again from 1946 to 1965. William Leon Garrett was a basketball player, coach, educator, and a college administrator who is best known as the first African American to regularly play on a Big Ten Conference varsity basketball team. Prior to becoming a college player for Indiana University (1947–51), the Shelbyville, Indiana, native led his Shelbyville High School basketball team to its first state high school basketball championship in 1947 and he was named Indiana Mr. Basketball. Caleb Sylvester Swanigan is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Purdue Boilermakers. He was ranked among the top prep players in the national class of 2015 by Rivals.com, Scout.com and ESPN. He completed his senior season in the 2014–15 academic year for Homestead High School, who went on to win the first state championship in the school's history. Swanigan was named Indiana's Mr. Basketball and a McDonald's All-American.

David Booth is an American basketball executive and former professional player. A native of Peoria, Illinois, Booth played for Manual High School, where he reached the Class AA Tournaments in three consecutive seasons; he would later be inducted in the Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame. He then played 4 years of college basketball with DePaul, and graduated as the second best scorer in program history with 1,933 total points. After going undrafted in the 1992 NBA draft, Booth started his career in France and over a 13-year span he also played in Greece, Italy, Japan, the Philippines and Venezuela. In 2009, Booth was inducted in DePaul's Hall of Fame.
