Representative Thomson serves on the following committees during the 97th General Assembly:

Representative Thomson also served on the House Committee on Elementary and Secondary Education from the beginning of the 2013 1st session until April 25, 2013 when Missouri Speaker of the House Tim Jones removed Thomson and fellow Republican Elaine Gannon from the committee. [4] The action was seen by Missouri political observers as retribution by Jones after the two failed to support Missouri House Bill 631, one of the Speakers' top legislative priorities. [5] It was overwhelmingly voted against by the House, 102-55. [4]

Michael Lair was an American politician and former educator from the state of Missouri. A Republican, Lair was first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives on November 4, 2008 and subsequently re-elected in 2010 and 2012. He represented District 7 in the House which consists of all or portions of Caldwell, Carroll, Clinton, and Livingston Counties. Due to redistricting of House seats following the 2010 U.S. Census, the boundaries of the 7th district changed effective January, 2013.

He was reelected for a second term in the U.S House of Representatives in 2024.

Casey Guernsey is an American politician. A Republican, he is a former member of the Missouri House of Representatives. Guernsey represented the 3rd, and then the 2nd District, encompassing all or portions of Daviess, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Mercer, Sullivan, and Worth counties in north central Missouri. Due to Missouri House redistricting following the 2010 U.S. Census, much of the current 3rd District was renamed the 2nd District effective January, 2013. The new boundaries include all of Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, and Harrison counties, but no longer all or parts of Grundy, Mercer, Sullivan, or Worth counties. Guernsey ran for the newly created 2nd District and won in the November, 2012 general election. On January 31, 2014, Guernsey announced he would not be a candidate for re-election in the 2014 Missouri House races nor would he be running for any seat in the Missouri Senate.

Benjamin Luther Watson is an American politician who has served in the Georgia State Senate from the 1st District since he was elected in 2014. He previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2010 to 2014. Watson is an active member of the Republican Party, and he has served on various legislative committees. Since 2019, he has chaired the State Senate's Health and Human Services committee.
