Dingo is a Finnish rock band formed around 1982. They fused Finnish melancholy with catchy rock melodies. The band was led by the frontman Pertti Neumann. For a few years of top success, Dingo was one of the most popular Finnish rock bands and caused a phenomenon called "Dingomania" all over Finland.
Ruisrock is a rock festival held annually on the island of Ruissalo in Turku, Finland. Ruisrock, founded in 1970, is the second oldest rock festival in Europe and the oldest in Finland. Ankkarock was a Finnish rock and metal festival held annually in Korso, Vantaa, in the Greater Helsinki area. It literally translates into Duckrock. The first Ankkarock was held in 1987; the festival was free of charge until 1998.

Jani Wickholm is a Finnish pop/rock singer. He came in second place on the Finnish MTV3 show Finnish Idols in 2004 after Hanna Pakarinen. Both Wickholm and Pakarinen had previously worked as truck-drivers.
Kari-Pekka Toivonen is a Finnish actor. He received a 2004 Best Actor Jussi Award for the film Upswing. Taivonen, who received his Master's Degree at the Helsinki Theatre Academy, was the recipient of a 2005 Shooting Stars Award.

Elonkerjuu is a Finnish folk rock band. Starting 2012, Juha Lagström is lead singer of the band. With the new name, they signed with Sony Music Entertainment. The band had started in the mid-1990s, with lead singer Lauri Tähkä and was known from 1996 until 2011 as Lauri Tähkä & Elonkerjuu. They were signed since 2006 with Universal Music Finland. Osku Ketola has been the lead singer since 2017.
The Scourger is a thrash metal band from Helsinki, Finland that formed in 2003. All three of the band's singles have landed on the national Finnish charts: "Hatehead", which debuted at No. 1 in July 2005; "Maximum Intensity", which landed at No. 3 a year later and climbed to No. 2 the following week; and "Never Bury the Hatchet", which entered the charts at No. 9 in July 2007. The first two singles are found on the band's 2006 debut album, Blind Date with Violence, while the third single is on the 2008 follow-up, Dark Invitation to Armageddon. On May 14, 2009, the band announced that it was splitting; vocalist Jari Hurskainen retained The Scourger name, while drummer Seppo Tarvainen, bassist Kimmo Kammonen, and guitarists Jani Luttinen and Antti Wirman will form a new band which has not yet been officially announced. The reason for the split was not given. Hurskainen announced the addition of three new members the following year: Jani Hentilä and Tero Kemppainen on guitars and Jape Nummenpää on bass.

The company builds guitars using traditional methods – no modern computer-controlled machinery or serial production methods are used. Each guitar is built individually by a luthier.
Qstock is an annual two-day rock festival held at the end of July in Oulu, Finland. The festival lineup includes some of the biggest names in both domestic and international music scene, regardless of the genre. The first Qstock festival was organised in 2003. The festival has quickly grown into the biggest summer event in northern Finland, with its 30,000 visitors. In 2013 and 2014 Qstock was sold out. The festival acts as sort of a successor of the former Kuusrock festival which was organised in Oulu from 1970s until early 1990s.
Michael Ekeghasi also known as "ME" is a Finland-based Nigerian singer and songwriter. Michael first gained popularity in 2016 for his cover of the Finnish rock band Eppu Normaali, titled "Joka päivä ja jokaikinen yö" which became a hit on Facebook and was featured on Soundi.fi, the website for Finland's largest music magazine. He was also a contestant on season 6 of The Voice of Finland (2017) where he reached the knockout stage of the competition.
Karjurock is a Finnish rock festival held annually in Nopperla farm in Uusikaupunki. Karjurock was first held in 2007, and since then, it has grown from a small village festival to attract 15,000 visitors.
