Apulanta ( Finnish for 'artificial fertilizer') is a Finnish rock band, founded in 1991 when its members were in their mid-teens.

Contents

In September 2009, Apulanta members established an independent label, Päijät-Hämeen Sorto ja Riisto ("Päijänne Tavastian Oppression and Exploitation"). [1] Since its beginnings, the label has so far gotten one artist, pop singer Kaija Koo in the summer of 2010. [2] In February 2011, they revealed that they had a new prospective artist in the label, though not disclosing their name. [3]

Repullinen hittejä is a compilation album of Finnish rock group Eppu Normaali. The album was produced by Mikko "Pantse" Syrjä, one of the guitarists of the band. It was released on 12 September 1996 through Poko Rekords. Repullinen hittejä debuted at number one on the Finnish Albums Chart and, with 110 weeks until 2007, became the third-longest charting album of all time. It is also the second-best-selling album of all time in Finland with sales exceeding 250,000 copies, which has granted it a sextuple-platinum certification.

Battle Beast is a Finnish heavy/power metal band established in Helsinki in 2008 by Anton Kabanen, Juuso Soinio and Pyry Vikki. In 2009, the highly popular Kolmas Nainen returned with two new studio albums and great commercial success.

Elokuutio is the seventh studio album by Finnish progressive metal band Stam1na. It was produced by Janne Joutsenniemi and mixed by Jens Bogren. The album's title Elokuutio can mean eloquence, but can also be translated as "living cube". Lyricist Antti Hyyrynen describes the album's theme as the "digital hell of the unreligious".

Dumari & Spuget is the current and the longest lasting band of Finnish recording artist Tuomari Nurmio.
