Mina Roosta (born 21 March 1993) is an Iranian volleyball player who plays for the Iran women's national volleyball team. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Contents

Mina Roosta is referred to as "the best female sprinter of Iran". [5] She was also part of the Iranian women's volleyball team in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic selection competition. [6] [7] The Spanish Badajoz Club entered the Spanish Volleyball League and the first Iranian female legionnaire won a league title in the Spanish League. [8] [9]

Career

In 2015, she was part of Iran's semi-national team in the Asian under-23 tournament. [10] In 2016, she was part of Iran's women's national volleyball team in the 19th Asia Championship women's volleyball tournament. [11] The composition of the Iranian women's national volleyball team played in the world selection tournament in 2016. [12]

Club records

In 2016, on the eve of the start of the premier women's volleyball club league, Rosta joined Isfahan's Zob Ahan team. [13]

Participation in the Spanish league

In 1400, the village entered the Spanish league by signing a contract with the Spanish Badajoz club and was named the first Iranian lady legionnaire in the Spanish league. [14]

Personal life

Mina Roosta is a graduate of Physiology of Physical Education. [15] She is also in charge of the Women's Education Committee of Shiraz Volleyball Board. [16]

Mahmoud Afshardoust is the secretary general of the Iranian Volleyball Federation, a former player and coach of the Iran men's national volleyball team. In 1994, he became the most valuable (MVP) youth player in Asia. The 2022–23 Persian Gulf Pro League was the 40th season of Iran's Football League and 22nd as Persian Gulf Pro League since its establishment in 2001. The 2022–23 season started on 11 August 2022 and featured 14 teams from the 2021–22 Persian Gulf Pro League and two new teams promoted from the 2021–22 Azadegan League: Mes Kerman and Malavan. The Iranian Women's Volleyball Premier League is the highest level of professional women's volleyball league in Iran. The highest level of weome's club league in Iran was founded in 1975 as the Shahbanu Cup which was continued until 1979, but after the Iranian Revolution it was renamed to the First Division. In 2001 the league system was revamped and the Iranian Women's Volleyball Premier League was established.
