The Ministry of Agriculture is a ministry of the Government of Tanzania.
The ministry was formed following the split of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries in October 2017 to improve efficiency, [1] with the livestock and fisheries roles being created into the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.

Stephen Masato Wasira is a Tanzanian CCM politician and Member of Parliament for Bunda constituency since 2005. He was the Minister of State in the President's Office for Social Relations and Coordination since 2010.

On 31 March 2021, President Samia Suluhu appointed him as the Minister of Finance, replacing Philip Mpango, who was elevated to the position of Vice President of Tanzania. Before his current appointment, he served as the Minister of Law and Constitutional Affairs in the Tanzanian Cabinet, since May 2020.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) is a cabinet-level ministry of the government of Uganda. The mandate of the ministry is to "formulate, review and implement national policies, plans, strategies, regulations and standards and enforce laws, regulations and standards along the value chain of crops, livestock and fisheries". The ministry is also responsible for the "enhancement of crop production and productivity, in a sustainable and environmentally safe manner, for improved food and nutrition security, employment, widened export base and improved incomes of the farmers".
The Third Hasina ministry was the cabinet of the People‘s Republic of Bangladesh headed by Sheikh Hasina that was formed after the 2014 general election which was held on 5 January 2014. The Awami League was assured of victory, with its candidates declared victors in 127 of the 154 uncontested seats by default. The elected MPs and Cabinet were sworn in on 9 January.
The Magufuli Cabinet was formed by President of Tanzania John Magufuli after taking the oath of office on 5 November 2015. Magufuli won the 2015 general election with 58% of the vote in a tightly contested race against ex-CCM Chadema rival Edward Lowassa. After being sworn in on 5 November 2015, Magufuli announced his cabinet almost a month later, on 10 December 2015. He reduced the cabinet to 19 ministers from 30 in the previous cabinet. The Second Cabinet's tenure was cut short on 19 March 2021, following the death of President John Magufuli, and the swearing-in of Samia Suluhu Hassan as the new president.
Following his victory in the presidential election on 1 December 2016, the newly elected President Adama Barrow appointed a new cabinet to succeed the cabinet of Yahya Jammeh, his predecessor. Barrow was formally inaugurated on 19 January 2017 at the embassy of the Gambia in Dakar, Senegal, and was able to return the Gambia on 26 January. He made the bulk of appointments in February 2017, and conducted major reshuffles in June 2018, March 2019 and May 2022.

The Kenya Coast Guard Service is a specialized maritime force of the Republic of Kenya, responsible for law enforcement on national waters, including on the oceans, lakes and rivers. He was elected MP representing Karagwe in 2015.
Abdallah Hamis Ulega is a Tanzanian politician and a member of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi political party. He was elected MP representing Mkuranga in 2015. Ulega was the Deputy Minister for Livestock and Fisheries and was promoted in February 2023 as the Minister.

The Second Cabinet of Cyril Ramaphosa was the cabinet of the government of South Africa between 29 May 2019 and 19 June 2024. It was formed by President Ramaphosa after the 2019 general election and dissolved after the 2024 general election. In the interim it was reshuffled twice – once in August 2021 and once in March 2023 – and augmented in size from 28 ministers to 30 ministers.

Adolf Faustine Mkenda is a Tanzanian Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, having previously served as Minister of Agriculture. An associate professor of Economics at the University of Dar es Salaam and a politician who presently serves as a Chama Cha Mapinduzi's Member of Parliament for Rombo constituency since November 2020.
The Suluhu Cabinet was officially formed in Tanzania on 31 March 2021. Following the death of former president John Magufuli, Samia Suluhu Hassan the Vice President in the previous cabinet was sworn in as the new president. Within two weeks of her assignment, she appointed a new vice president and reshuffled the previous cabinet.
The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development is the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development. One of the senior-most officers in the Federal Cabinet, the minister responsible for growth and development of agriculture and livestock sector is an ex-officio member of Nepal Agricultural Research Council, Nepal Veterinary Council and National Tea and Coffee Development Board. The Minister is assisted by the Minister of State for Agriculture and Livestock Development and the junior Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development.
