History

The ministry was formed following the split of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries in October 2017 to improve efficiency, [1] with the livestock and fisheries roles being created into the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.

Kivukoni Ward in Arusha Municipal District, Arusha Region

Kivukoni is an administrative ward located in Ilala District, Dar es Salaam Region of Tanzania. Kivikoni's name come from the Swahili word meaning "a crossing place". The ward is bordered by Upanga East ward to the west, Kisutu ward to the southwest, and Kigamboni ward across the Kivukoni channel. The ward covers an area of 2.387 km2 (0.922 sq mi). Kivukoni ward is one of the most important wards in the country, as it is home to the Ikulu, which is the home of the president of Tanzania. Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) is a government department in the Northern Ireland Executive, the devolved administration for Northern Ireland. The minister with overall responsibility for the department is the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs. The department was called the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development between 1999 and 2016. The Minister of Agriculture previously existed in the Government of Northern Ireland (1921–1972), where the department was known as the Department of Agriculture for Northern Ireland or the Ministry of Agriculture. The current Minister is Edwin Poots MLA and the department's Permanent Secretary is Denis McMahon.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives was a ministry of the Government of Tanzania. Under the first Magufuli Cabinet it was merged into the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.

Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (Thailand)

The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives is a cabinet ministry in the government of Thailand. The ministry is one of the oldest ministries in the government, tracing its existence to the 14th century. The ministry is responsible for the administration of agricultural policies, forestry, water resources, irrigation, promotion and development of farmers and cooperative systems, including agricultural manufacturing and products. As Thailand is an agricultural country with a strong agrarian tradition, the ministry is one of the most important departments in the government. The Council of Agriculture is the official government body in the Republic of China (Taiwan) under the Executive Yuan in charged with overseeing affairs related to agriculture, forestry, fishery, animal husbandry and food affairs.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) is a cabinet-level division of the government of South Korea. It is headquartered in the Sejong Government Complex in Sejong City. It was established as Ministry of Agriculture, with the founding of the First Republic of Korea in 1948.

Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (Uganda) Ugandan government board

The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) is a cabinet-level ministry of the government of Uganda. The mandate of the ministry is to "formulate, review and implement national policies, plans, strategies, regulations and standards and enforce laws, regulations and standards along the value chain of crops, livestock and fisheries". The ministry is also responsible for the "enhancement of crop production and productivity, in a sustainable and environmentally safe manner, for improved food and nutrition security, employment, widened export base and improved incomes of the farmers".

Magufuli cabinet

The Magufuli Cabinet was formed by President of Tanzania John Magufuli after taking the oath of office on 5 November 2015. Magufuli won the 2015 general election with 58% of the vote in a tightly contested race against ex-CCM Chadema rival Edward Lowassa. After being sworn in on 5 November 2015, Magufuli announced his cabinet almost a month later, on 10 December 2015. He reduced the cabinet to 19 ministers from 30 in the previous cabinet. The Second Cabinet's tenure was cut short on 19 March 2021, following the death of President John Magufuli, and the swearing-in of Samia Suluhu Hassan as the new president.

Kibaha Education Centre (KEC) is an education institution located in Kibaha in Tanzania. It Is situated at 6°47'22.2"S, 38°58'28.7"E in Kibaha municipal council. KEC was established in 1963 under the co-sponsorship o five countries, the government of Tanganyika on one side as well as four Nordic countries. Before handing over to the Tanzania government in 1970, KEC was known as the Nordic-Tanganyika project.

Kenya Coast Guard Service
