The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (MTIC) is a cabinet level ministry of the government of Uganda. The mission of the ministry is to "develop and promote a competitive and export-driven private sector through the acceleration of industrial development", with the ultimate objective being the growth of the Ugandan economy. [1] The ministry is headed by Minister Francis Mwebesa, who was appointed by the president. [2] [3]

Location

The headquarters of MTIC are located in Farmers House, at Plot 6-8 Parliamentary Avenue, on Nakasero Hill, in the Central Division of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city. [4] The coordinates of MTIC headquarters are 00°18'48.0"N, 32°35'07.0"E (Latitude:0.313327; Longitude:32.585275). [5]

Nakasero Neighborhood in Kampala city

Nakasero is a hill and neighborhood in the centre of Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. Nakasero is important to Uganda's economy and politics, as it is home to Kampala's central business district and several government offices, including the Ugandan Parliament Buildings.

Mpondwe is a town in the Western Region of Uganda.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) is a cabinet-level ministry of the government of Uganda. Uganda National Pipeline Company (UNPC), whose official name is National Pipeline Company Uganda Limited (NPCUL), is a Ugandan private limited liability company that is a 100 percent subsidiary of the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC). UNPC was incorporated under the Companies Act of 2012, with the main objective being to hold the Uganda Government's interest in the crude oil, petroleum products and natural gas pipelines together with storage facilities and associated infrastructure, within the country's nascent petroleum industry.
