Minnie Minnich (January 26,1889 - February 28,1941) was an American politician who served one term in the Kansas House of Representatives representing the 69th District in Sumner County,Kansas. [1] A social worker and resident of Wellington,Kansas,she was elected in 1920 as part of the second group of women elected to the Kansas Legislature,serving with Rep. Minnie J. Grinstead,Rep. The Kansas House of Representatives is the lower house of the legislature of the U.S. state of Kansas. Composed of 125 state representatives from districts with roughly equal populations of at least 19,000,its members are responsible for crafting and voting on legislation,helping to create a state budget,and legislative oversight over state agencies.
