The Minorities Affairs Department is a department of the Government of Sindh, Pakistan. It was established in the 1995 with the Religious Affairs, Auqaf, Zakat and Ushr Department, but became a separate department in 2010. [2]

The department was created to safeguard the rights of minorities and facilitates in the formulation of policies, planning, coordination, evaluation and review of the regulatory framework. [3] [4]

These divisions were abolished in 2000, but restored in 2008. Moro is a city in the Naushahro Feroze District, of Sindh, Pakistan. The city is administratively subdivided into 12 Union councils. and is located in the centre of Sindh at an altitude of 28 m (95 ft) and is 12 km of the Indus River. It is the largest city in Naushahro Feroze District with a population of about 368,789 as per 2017 Census of Pakistan.

Sassui Palijo

Sassui Palijo is a politician and a columnist from Thatta, Sindh, Pakistan. Sassui Palijo is affiliated to Pakistan Peoples Party and is currently a Senator on women's reserved seat from Sindh. Sassui Palijo was elected Chairperson of Senate Standing Committee on Parliamentary Affairs in 2018. She was first elected Member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh from Mirpur Sakro Thatta PS-85 THATTA-II in 2002 and later in 2008. She was Minister for Culture in Sindh cabinet led by Syed Qaim Ali Shah from 2008 to 2013. She was the only directly elected female assembly member in Sindh out of 168 assembly members.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Pakistani politician

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a Pakistani politician and the current chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party. A member of the politically prominent Bhutto and Zardari families, he is the son of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto and former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. Zardari became a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan on 13 August 2018.

Tharparkar District in Sindh, Pakistan

Tharparkar also known as Thar, is a district in Sindh province in Pakistan headquartered at Mithi. The district is the largest in Sindh, and has the largest Hindu population in Pakistan. It has the lowest Human Development Index rating of all the districts in Sindh. Currently the Sindh government is planning to divide the Tharparkar district into Tharparkar and Chhachro district.

Islamabad had an estimated population of 1,014,825 according to the 2017 Census.

Sindh Education and Literacy Department

Education and Literacy Department is a department of the Government of Sindh, Pakistan. The primary objective of the department is to look after the educational affairs within the province and co-ordinate with Federal Government and donor agencies regarding promotion of education in the province. The department plays supervisory role of Primary education and manages Secondary education, Technical Education, incentive programs and development schemes. Government of Sindh has bifurcated Education and Literacy Department into two separate departments College Education Department and School Education Department on 6 October 2016 hence having two different Secretaries of the departments.
