Minto Road is a road in Ramna in Dhaka that houses the official residences of many Minister and High government officials of Bangladesh.
The road starts at Rajosik Bihar Sculpture Square or Properly known as InterContinental Dhaka interchange near Shahbag where it meets with Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue and ends at Kotowal Sculpture Square just beside DMP Headquarters where it junction with Moghbazar Road. Bailey Road is a well-known thoroughfare and an upscale area in Ramna, Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. It is a classic road in Dhaka which runs through Shiddheswari, connecting Hare Road with Shantinagar junction. It is regarded as one of the busiest areas of the city, constructed during the colonial era, now serving both as a residential area for civil servants, high court judges as well as government offices and shopping malls and food courts. The Bailey Road is considered as two distinct roads, one after another, they are the new Bailey Road and the Bailey Road. The new Bailey Road is well recognised for its famous theatres, numerous boutiques, shops, schools, fast foods, restaurants and various hangout places. Shankharibazar massacre was a massacre of over 212 Bengali Hindus in the Shankharibazar area of Old Dhaka in East Pakistan on 26 March 1971 by the Pakistani occupation army. The survivors fled to the villages on the other side of the Buriganga, in the region now known as Keraniganj. Shankharibazar became deserted and dead bodies remained on the streets for quite a long time. The Pakistani establishment renamed the Shankharibazar Road to Tikka Khan Road.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is a Bangladeshi politician. He has been the secretary general of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) since 2016. He was a member of the parliament for Thakurgaon-1 constituency from 2001 to 2006. Abdur Rob Serniabat (1921-1975) was a Bangladeshi politician and the former water resources minister. He was the brother-in-law of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, founding father of Bangladesh, and the maternal uncle of Sheikh Hasina, the five-time prime minister of Bangladesh. He was killed during the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 15 August 1975.

He was sent into retirement from government service in public interest according to the provisions of section no. 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018.

Asaduzzaman Mia, is a retired Bangladeshi police officer who served as the 33rd Police commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, the longest serving commissioner and a former chief executive officer of National Security Affairs Cell under the Cabinet Division. During his tenure as DMP Commissioner, Dhaka Metropolitan Police was considered to be at its peak.
Harun-or-Rashid is a former police officer who served as the chief of the detective branch of Bangladesh police. On 13 August 2024, he was named as one of the 7 accused in the illegal shooting and killing of various students across Dhaka during the Bangladesh Quota Reform Movement along with former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, former minister Obaidul Quader, former minister Asaduzaman Khan Kamal and police officer Biplob Kumar Sarker. According to various media reports, he has either absconded or been admitted at an unknown hospital in Dhaka after being lynched by a mob due to his orders of shooting at students. He is known for his controversial actions.
Manik Mia Avenue is a major road in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka that makes the south boundary of Bangladesh National Parliament House Complex and houses the official residences of many members of parliament.
