Miranda Boonstra (29 August 1972) is a Dutch long-distance runner and member of Prins Hendrik Vught and Nijmegen Atletiek.

Boonstra competed in the 2005 World Championships in Athletics. [1]

At the 2006 European Athletics Championships she qualified for the finals and finished in 12th in the 3000 metres steeplechase. In the semifinals of this event she set a national record. [2]

She finished 10th at the 2011 Berlin Marathon. [3]

She is the European record holder for the 10 km road race, and the British record holder for the 5000 m, 10,000 m, 5 km and half marathon. She also holds the European best in the 10 miles on the roads.

Her personal best for the 3000 m steeplechase is 9:03.30, which is also a national record. In 2019 Krause set a world best for the 2000 m steeplechase in 5:52.80.
