The Centre Pompidou, more fully the Centre national d'art et de culture Georges-Pompidou, also known as the Pompidou Centre in English, is a complex building in the Beaubourg area of the 4th arrondissement of Paris, near Les Halles, rue Montorgueil, and the Marais. Nina Breeder, is an Italian contemporary artist based in New York City. She grew up in Northern Italy and lived there until 1991. Later she was relocated to Polperro, UK, for one year where she first met her adoptive brother Massimilian Breeder, who is present in several of her works and future films/video-art collaborations. She studied at Colombo Lyceum for Classic Literature and consequently at the Academy of Art in Florence, Italy.
