52nd Miss Korea 2008 was a beauty pageant held on July 8, 2008, at Sejong Center, sponsored by the Korean newspaper Hankook Ilbo . Approximately 51 women [1] from around the world competed in Seoul, South Korea and seven were selected by a panel of judges. The first-place winner was Na Ree, crowned by the official last year winner Lee Ji-sun. Na Ree was to compete at Miss Universe 2009 in the Bahamas.

Na Ry is a South Korean artist, model and beauty pageant titleholder who the winner of Miss Korea 2008 which was held in Seoul's Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. She represented Korea in the 2009 Miss Universe pageant. When she won Miss Korea 2008, Na Ry was studying applied statistics at Yonsei University. She plays the violin and enjoys pilates.

Miss World Mongolia, Miss Mongolia are the national beauty contest for unmarried women of Mongolia which is held annually with breaks. The winner represents Mongolia at the Miss World competition. The alleged winner would participate in the international beauty pageant Miss World.

Miss World 2015, the 65th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 19 December 2015 at the outdoor arena of the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. 114 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Rolene Strauss of South Africa crowned her successor Mireia Lalaguna of Spain at the end of the event. It was the first time in the history of Miss World that Spain won the pageant.

Miss International 2018, the 58th Miss International pageant, was held on 9 November 2018, at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kevin Lilliana from Indonesia crowned her successor Mariem Velazco from Venezuela at the end of the event. This marks Venezuela's eighth victory at Miss International - the most in the pageant's history. This is the third time in Miss International history that the finals night saw the return of the previous year's runners-up to crown their respective successors. This year Miss International comeback edition with the theme "Cheer All Woman" alongside Miss International Japan 2019.

Miss Supranational 2017 was the ninth Miss Supranational pageant. It was held on December 1, 2017, at MOSIR Arena in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. Srinidhi Shetty of India crowned Jenny Kim of Korea at the end of the event. She is the first winner from South Korea and the win is the first major title for her country.

Miss Earth 2022 was the 22nd Miss Earth pageant, held at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines on 29 November 2022. The competition returned to the Philippines into a standard format for the first time since 2019, after easing travel restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
