Indiana María Sánchez Sánchez is a Nicaraguan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Nicaragua 2009 on March 7, 2009 at the Ruben Dario National Theater in Managua. She received the crown from the outgoing Miss Nicaragua, Thelma Rodriguez. Indiana went off to represent Nicaragua at the 58th edition of the Miss Universe pageant held in August at the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas, Bahamas. She was one of the heavy favorites, appearing on many predictions list, but she did not place among the top 15. She was awarded 2nd Place in National Costume.

The 2010–11 season in Primera División de Nicaragua will be divided into two tournaments and will determine the 57th and 58th champions in the history of the league. The season will begin on July 25 and end on December 12. It will also provide the sole berth for the 2011–12 CONCACAF Champions League.

The Miss Nicaragua 2010 pageant, was held on February 27, 2010 in Managua, after weeks of events. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Scharllette Allen Moses became the first Miss Nicaragua titleholder from the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua. She represented Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2010 held later that year in Las Vegas, USA. The rest of the finalists would enter different pageants.

The Miss Nicaragua 2011 pageant, was held on February 26, 2011 in Managua, after weeks of events. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Adriana Dorn became the new Miss Nicaragua Universe. She represented Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2011 held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, later that year. The rest of the finalists would enter different pageants.

Daniela Torres Bonilla is a Nicaraguan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Nicaragua 2015. She represented her country at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant.

The Miss Nicaragua 2001 pageant, was held on February 3, 2001 in Managua, after several weeks of events. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Ligia Cristina Argüello Roa from Managua won the title. She represented Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2001 held in Puerto Rico where she was unplaced and also Miss World 2001 held in Sun City, South Africa where she was in the Top 5 and received the Miss World Americas title. The rest of the finalists would enter different pageants.

The Miss Nicaragua 2016 pageant, was held on March 5, 2016 in Managua, after several weeks of events. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Marina Jacoby from Matagalpa won the title. She represented Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2016 held in Philippines later that year. The rest of the finalists would enter different pageants.

The 2020–21 Liga Primera de Nicaragua season was divided into two tournaments, Apertura and Clausura. The season determined the 75th and 76th champions in the history of the Liga Primera de Nicaragua, the top division of football in Nicaragua. The Apertura tournament was played in the second half of 2020, while the Clausura was played in the first half of 2021.

The 2021–22 Liga Primera de Nicaragua season was to be divided into two tournaments, Apertura and Clausura. The season will determine the 77th and 78th champions in the history of the Liga Primera de Nicaragua, the top division of football in Nicaragua. The Apertura tournament is to be played in the second half of 2021, while the Clausura is to be played in the first half of 2022.

Sheynnis Alondra Palacios Cornejo is a Nicaraguan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2023. Having previously been crowned Miss Nicaragua 2023, she is the first Nicaraguan to win Miss Universe and the first to win one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Miss Grand Nicaragua</span> National beauty pageant in Nicaragua

Miss Grand Nicaragua is an annual national women's beauty pageant in Nicaragua founded by a León-based designer "Saúl Benítez" in 2020, aiming to select the country representative to compete at Miss Grand International. Formerly, throughout 2014–2017, the license of the contest belonged to Miss Mundo Nicaragua and Miss Nicaragua but the country representatives were either appointed or determined through the main contest of such organizations.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Miss Grand Nicaragua 2021</span>

Miss Grand Nicaragua 2021 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Nicaragua beauty pageant, held at the Teatro Municipal José de la Cruz Mena in León, Nicaragua, on August 8, 2021. Nine candidates from seven country's departments competed for the national titles, with Managua and the North Caribbean Coast each sending two candidates, of whom Epifanía Solís of Managua and Maycrin Jáenz of Granada were named Miss Grand Nicaragua 2021 and Miss Grand Nicaragua 2022, respectively. The contest was organized under the direction of Saul Benítez, a León-based designer who acquired the contest license in 2019.
