Miss India or Femina Miss India is a national beauty pageant in India that annually selects representatives to compete in Miss World, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants. It is organised by Femina, a women's magazine published by The Times Group. Since 2013, Femina also organizes Miss Diva separately which sends representatives to Miss Universe.
Miss Venezuela is the national beauty pageant of Venezuela, traditionally held in September. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes. The final televised competition generally lasts about four hours and is broadcast live across Latin America by Venevisión and produced by the networks parent company Cisneros Group, with edited versions to the United States and Mexico on the Univision and Telemundo networks. From 2013 to 2015, the national contest was split into two separate pageants: Miss Venezuela and Miss Venezuela Mundo. The pageant is also closely observed by other countries seeking to level competition due to its illustrious record of pageant victories. In 2016, the Venezuelan franchise for Miss Earth was awarded to Miss Earth Venezuela organized by National Directors Julio César Cruz and Alyz Henrich.
Miss Bangladesh is a national beauty pageant in Bangladesh that annually selects representatives to compete in Miss World, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. It is owned by Omicon Entertainment. Since 2019, Off Track Events organizes Miss Universe Bangladesh separately which sends representatives to Miss Universe. In 2020, Bangladesh sent their first representative to Miss Earth, Which was selected through Miss Earth Bangladesh.
Miss Tahiti is a long-standing beauty contest competition which awards prizes to young women contestants from Tahiti to Miss France as territory. It makes it possible to compete at some International pageants in order to represent the island as a territory.
Miss Curaçao is a national beauty pageant in Curaçao. This pageant is unrelated to the Señorita Curaçao or Miss International Curaçao pageant.

Miss Universe Vietnam is a biennially national beauty pageant in Vietnam to select the country's representative to the Miss Universe, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants.
Since 2017, the editions have been being organized frequently at the very end of odd years as opposed to the organization of Miss Vietnam on even years due to the Ministry of Culture's direction. The winner of the pageant will be crowned as the next year's Miss Universe Vietnam while one of the two Runners-up could be appointed as the following year's one if the pageant is not allowed to be held in time. Therefore, there have been two types of Miss Universe Vietnam. The crowned Miss Universe Vietnam will represent Vietnam at Miss Universe on even years while the appointed/granted Miss Universe Vietnam will represent the country on odd years.

Miss Universe 2016 was the 65th Miss Universe pageant, held on 30 January 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines crowned her successor Iris Mittenaere of France at the end of the event. After waiting 63 years, this is the second time France has won the Miss Universe title, following Christiane Martel in 1953. This is also Europe's first win in 26 years, as the last European Miss Universe was the Norwegian Mona Grudt who was crowned on the 1990 pageant. This is the second time in the history of the competition that the pageant skipped the entire year, following the 2014 pageant which was held in January 2015.
Miss World 2016, the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on December 18, 2016 at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States. 117 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Mireia Lalaguna of Spain crowned her successor Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico at the end of the event. It was the second time that the Miss World pageant held in the United States. It was the second time where Puerto Rico won Miss World, after Wilnelia Merced in 1975.
Miss Universe 2017 was the 66th Miss Universe pageant, held on 26 November 2017 at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Iris Mittenaere of France crowned her successor Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa at the end of the event.
Miss World 2017, the 67th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 November 2017 at the Sanya City Arena in China. 118 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico crowned her successor Manushi Chhillar of India at the end of the event. She is the sixth Indian woman to win Miss World after Priyanka Chopra won in 2000.
Miss Universe Laos is a national Beauty pageant in Laos. Miss Universe Laos was founded in 2015 by TV Lao Network, which is the current franchise holder of Miss Universe in Laos.
Miss Queen Korea is a national beauty pageant responsible for selecting South Korea's representative to the Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Supranational pageant. The first Miss Queen Korea pageant was held on August 22, 2018.
