Mitch Stratten is a director, sculptor, composer and writer based in the United Kingdom.

Stratten is best known for the "mash-cut” album Nodern Loves You released on Sub Rosa records [1] and the world record breaking [2] [3] commercial entitled "Time Sculpture" for the Toshiba corporation. Mitch Stratten has also received recognition for the "boundary-blurring" [4] [5] [6] video art project OCP which was first launched online from the Sedition curated distribution platform. "Air War" is a single by Crystal Castles. It was released on 17 December 2007 by Trouble Records as a 7" vinyl. An earlier version of the song was released in July 2006 as the B-Side to "Alice Practice" on Merok Records. The lyrics are from the 1922 James Joyce novel Ulysses in Chapter 11: Sirens. The piece, which comprised a collection of interacting movement loops sequenced into a single shot, was created in collaboration with advertising agency Grey London, based on a video art proposal by director Mitch Stratten. Time Sculpture holds the world record for the greatest number of moving image cameras used in a single shot.

Nodern Loves You is a full-length music album arranged and recorded by artist and filmmaker Mitch Stratten released on Sub Rosa records. Nodern Loves You was mastered by Denis Blackham in the Isle of Skye. The album artwork features a plain gold disc without any text visible through a partially black printed transparent sleeve.

<i>OCP</i> (film)

OCP is a video artwork produced and directed by Mitch Stratten. The performance taking place inside an elaborate three tonne moving set allowed a puppeteer to synchronise the space with the unpredictable movement of the three characters contained.
