The Marina Barrage is a dam in Singapore built at the confluence of five rivers, across the Marina Channel between Marina East and Marina South. First conceptualised in 1987 by the late Lee Kuan Yew, the Barrage started construction on 22 March 2005, and was officially opened on 31 October 2008 as Singapore's fifteenth reservoir. It provides water storage, flood control and recreation. It won a Superior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers in 2009.
Nizam Sagar Dam is an Indian dam named after the Nizamof Hyderabad. It is a reservoir constructed across the Manjira River, a tributary of the Godavari River, between Achampet and BanjePally villages of the Kamareddy district in Telangana, India. It is located at about 144 km north-west of Hyderabad. Nizam Sagar is the oldest dam in the state of Telangana.

The Moose River is an 83-mile-long (134 km) river in Maine. Its source is in Beattie, on the Canada–United States border, which runs along the height of land between the watersheds of the Kennebec River in Maine and the Chaudière River in Quebec. From there, the river runs east through Attean Pond and Wood Pond, past the town of Moose River, then through Long Pond and Brassua Lake. The Moose River empties into Moosehead Lake, the source of the Kennebec River, in Rockwood Strip. The International Railway of Maine was built along Moose River in 1889.
The West Branch Moose River is a short tributary of the South Branch Moose River in Franklin County, Maine. Its source is on Caribou Mountain in Merrill Strip, about 2,000 feet (600 m) from the Canada–United States border, which runs along the height of land between the watersheds of the Kennebec River in Maine and the Chaudière River in Quebec. From there, the river runs 5.9 miles (9.5 km) northeast to its confluence with the Moose River's South Branch in Skinner.
Mistusinne is a resort village in Maple Bush Rural Municipality No. 224, Saskatchewan, Canada. The population was 56 at the 2006 Census. The village's name is derived from the Plains Cree word mistasiniy which refers to a massive stone that resembled a sleeping bison that once rested in the Qu'Appelle Valley before Lake Diefenbaker was built. Douglas Provincial Park extends from the community to the Qu'Appelle River Dam and is 8 km south of the village of Elbow on highway 19. The community serves as a summer retreat that contains many cabins and a golf course, with a view of Lake Diefenbaker. Part of the golf course along the shore had to be rebuilt when waters of Lake Diefenbaker rose in 1998 and collapsed the shoreline.
The Rural Municipality of Grayson No. 184 is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 5 and SARM Division No. 1. It encompasses 875.22 square kilometres. The RM's office is located in Grayson, Saskatchewan. The RM, in conjunction with the provincial government, is in charge of maintenance of highways in its area. As well, it provides policing, fire protection and municipal governance for the RM, with a reeve serving as its chief elected official. The RM surrounds the villages of Dubuc and Killaly, while the unincorporated communities of Sunset Beach and Moose Bay are under its jurisdiction.
Polavaram Project, is an under construction multi-purpose National project on the Godavari River in the West Godavari District and East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh. The project has been accorded national project status by the Union Government of India and will be the last to be accorded the status. It's reservoir back water spreads up to the Dummugudem Anicut i.e. approx 150 km back form Polavaram Spillway on main river side and approx 115 km in Sabari River side.It is located 40 km to the upstream of Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage in Rajamahendravaram City. Thus back water spreads into parts of Chhattisgarh and Odisha States. It gives major boost to tourism sector in Godavari Districts as the reservoir covers the famous Papikonda National Park, Polavaram Hydro electric project(HEP) and National waterway 4 are in under construction at left side of the river.
The Dakpathar Barrage is a concrete barrage across the Yamuna River adjacent to Dakpathar in Uttarakhand, India. In a run-of-the-river scheme, the barrage serves to divert water into the East Yamuna Canal for hydroelectric power production at the Dhakrani and Dhalipur Power Plants. The foundation stone for the dam was laid on 23 May 1949 by India's Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The project was delayed due to funding and both power stations were commissioned in 1965. The barrage is controlled by 25 floodgates and has a length of 516.5 m (1,695 ft).
Pulichintala Project is a multipurpose project serving irrigation needs, hydro power generation and flood control. It is a crucial irrigation facility for farmers of four coastal districts of West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam where irrigation facility for 13 lakh acres. It has 24 gates in all with balancing reservoir with a capacity of 46 tmcft at 175 feet (53 m) MSL full reservoir level (FRL). The project started impounding the water in August 2014. The cost of the project has exceeded Rs.1850 crores.

Caribous-de-Val-d'Or Biodiversity Reserve is a biodiversity reserve located in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec, Canada, less than 20 km (12 mi) southeast of the city of Val d'Or. It was established on April 28, 2009. The largest lake in the reserve is Sabourin Lake. With an area of 434.19 km (269.79 mi), it is one of the largest protected areas in Quebec.
Lake Sainte-Anne is a lake and reservoir on the Toulnustouc River in the territory of Côte-Nord, Quebec, Canada. The original dam was built in 1950 to regulate the river flow as part of the Manicouagan River hydroelectric power complex. A new dam was completed in 2005 that enlarged the reservoir and supported the new Toulnustouc generating station.
