Mittet is a small village in the northern part of Rauma Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located on the south shore of the Langfjorden. Mittet has a population of about 150. It has a grocery store, gas station, and a camping site. Holm Church is located about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) to the west of the village.

The Langfjorden is a 35-kilometre (22 mi) long arm of the Romsdalsfjord which begins between the most easterly point on the island of Sekken in Molde and Okseneset in Rauma, both in Møre og Romsdal, Norway). The fjord then continues to the east to the village of Eidsvåg in Nesset.

The Mittetelva river runs through the village into the Langfjorden. The river runs through the nearby Mittet valley and the river contains trout and salmon.

Akkarvik is a small village along the Langfjorden in Skjervøy Municipality, in the northern part of Troms county, Norway. Sekken is an island in Molde Municipality, Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located in Romsdal Fjord, at the mouth of the Langfjorden. The island lies about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of the island of Bolsøya and about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) west of the historic island of Veøya. There are no road connections to the 18.7-square-kilometre (7.2 sq mi) island except for a ferry connection between the town of Molde and Seterneset on the island. The proposed Langfjord Tunnel includes a possible branch off the main tunnel under the Langfjorden that would connect Sekken to the mainland by subsea road tunnel.

Langfjordbotn (Norwegian) or Lákkovuonbahta (Northern Sami) is a village in Alta Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. Langfjordbotn is located at the innermost end of the Langfjorden, a part of the main Altafjorden. Langfjordbotn has a population (2012) of 114 residents. The village lies along the European route E06 highway, just east of the municipal border with Kvænangen. Langfjord Church lies about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) northeast of the centre of the village, on the north shore of the fjord.

Sølsnes Village in Western Norway, Norway

Sølsnes is a village in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the Romsdal Peninsula at the confluence of the Karlsøyfjorden and the Langfjorden. The village of Nesjestranda lies about 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) north of Sølsnes. The Old Veøy Church is located on the island of Veøya, off the coast from Sølsnes. That church is now a museum and it was replaced in 1907 by a new Veøy Church which was built in Sølsnes.

Åfarnes Village in Western Norway, Norway

Åfarnes is a village in Rauma Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located at the confluence of Romsdal Fjord, Langfjorden, and Rødvenfjorden. The Norwegian County Road 64 runs through the village on its way from the town of Åndalsnes and the town of Molde. There is a ferry quay in Åfarnes with regular ferries across the Langfjorden to the village of Sølsnes in Molde Municipality to the north. The proposed Langfjord Tunnel would connect Åfarnes and Sølsnes as part of County Road 64. The local Church of Norway parish is based at Holm Church, located about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) east of the village.
