Miye D'Oench (born January 26, 1994) is an American former professional ice hockey player for the Metropolitan Riveters in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).
Across 135 NCAA games with the Harvard Crimson women's ice hockey program, D'Oench put up 122 points, the 24th player in the university's history to reach 100 points. She was named to the All-ECAC Hockey second team and All-Ivy League second team in her final year. [1] [2]
In 2015, she was drafted 15th overall by the Boston Pride of the NWHL. [3] In April 2016, the Pride traded her rights to the Metropolitan Riveters in exchange for the rights to Alex Carpenter. [4] She would play three seasons with the Riveters, putting up 34 points in 36 games. [5] She would miss half of the 2018 regular season with an ankle injury, before returning for the playoffs as the team won the Isobel Cup. [6]
In March 2019, she retired from professional hockey, to return to university and study to become a lawyer. [7]
D'Oench represented the United States at the 2012 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship, getting two goals in five games as the country won the silver medal. She attended several training camps for the senior national team, including for the 2018 Olympic team, but was not selected to the final US roster for any international tournaments. [8]
From 2016 to 2018, D'Oench worked for the New York County District Attorney, before leaving to become a field organiser for Amy McGrath, in her campaign for a seat in the US Congress. [9] [10] [11] She is currently studying at Stanford Law School.

Jillian T. Dempsey is an American ice hockey player who currently captains the Boston Pride in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She currently holds the all-time PHF records for games played, goals, assists, and points, and has won both the Clarkson Cup and the Isobel Cup.
Michelle "Shelly" Picard is a retired American ice hockey player who played defense for the United States women's national ice hockey team. Picard also played for the Harvard Crimson and Metropolitan Riveters. She later served as deputy commissioner of the National Women's Hockey League from 2019 to 2021.
The Harvard Crimson represented Harvard University in ECAC women's ice hockey during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Crimson played in the NCAA Division I National Championship, losing to Minnesota.
The Premier Hockey Federation, abbreviated PHF, was a women's professional ice hockey league in the United States and Canada that operated from March 2015 until June 2023. The league was established in 2015 as the National Women's Hockey League, abbreviated NWHL, at which time it comprised four league-owned teams. Over time, some teams gained independent ownership and the number of teams grew to seven: the Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale, Metropolitan Riveters, Minnesota Whitecaps, Montreal Force, and Toronto Six.
The Metropolitan Riveters were a professional women's ice hockey team based in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with home games at the American Dream Meadowlands ice rink.
The Boston Pride was a professional women's ice hockey team based in Boston, Massachusetts. They were one of the four charter franchises of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF), formerly the National Women's Hockey League. The Pride played at Warrior Ice Arena, which is also the practice facility for the Boston Bruins of the NHL. They won the inaugural Isobel Cup in 2016 and became the first professional women's ice hockey team to win three championship titles when they claimed consecutive victories in 2021 and 2022. The team folded at the end of the 2023 season, when the PHF's assets were purchased and the league dissolved.
Kelly Babstock is a Canadian-American ice hockey player who currently plays with the Metropolitan Riveters of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She has Ojibwe roots and is originally from Little Current on Manitoulin Island, part of the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. Babstock played collegiate ice hockey with the Quinnipiac Bobcats and, as of September 2021, remains the top point scorer in the program’s history. In the National Women's Hockey League, she played with the Connecticut Whale from 2015–2018 and with the Buffalo Beauts during the 2018–19 season. In the Whale's inaugural game on October 15, 2015, she became the first Canadian-born player to score a goal in a NWHL regular season game.
Shin So-jung is a South Korean retired ice hockey goaltender and former member of the South Korean women's national ice hockey team and the Korean Unified women's ice hockey team, currently serving as an assistant coach to the South Korean national team. She was the first Korean to play professional women's ice hockey in North America, as a member of the New York Riveters in the 2016–17 season of the National Women's Hockey League.

Kelsey Koelzer is an American ice hockey defender, currently serving as head coach of the Arcadia University women's ice hockey program, the first black female head coach in NCAA ice hockey history, as well as the Advisor to the Commissioner on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the NWHL. She was drafted 1st overall by the Metropolitan Riveters in the 2016 NWHL Draft, the first black player to be the first overall pick in a professional North American hockey league draft. She played two seasons in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) with the Riveters before joining the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) in 2019.
Saroya Tinker is a Canadian ice hockey defenseman, currently playing for the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She was a member of the Six roster that won the 2023 Isobel Cup championship.

She played for the Metropolitan Riveters of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) and the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL), winning the Isobel Cup and the Clarkson Cup respectively, before ending her playing career and serving as general manager of the Connecticut Whale during the 2019–20 NWHL season.
