Mlamli Alfred Makhetha is a South African politician who served as a member of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature. He was previously deputy provincial chairperson of the Economic Freedom Fighters in the Eastern Cape and before that, the provincial secretary.
At the EFF's provincial conference in October 2018, Makhetha was elected as the party's provincial secretary. [1] He was elected to the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature in the 2019 election. [2]
Makhetha was elected as the deputy provincial chairperson of the EFF at the party's provincial conference held in November 2022, however, shortly afterwards Makhetha was forced out of his position and replaced with Nokuthula Mlokoti after the EFF War Council resolved to reconfigure the provincial leadership because no woman was elected to any of the contested positions and EFF president Julius Malema expressed his disappointment at the conference's results. [3] He resigned from the provincial legislature in February 2023. [4]

Marshall Mzingisi Dlamini is a South African businessman and politician who was elected the secretary-general of the Economic Freedom Fighters in December 2019. He has been a member of the National Assembly since April 2015. Dlamini has been an EFF member since its inception in July 2013.
Thembinkosi Tevin Apleni was a South African politician who served as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces from May 2019 until his death in May 2023. He was one of six permanent delegates from the Eastern Cape. Apleni was a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and served as the party's provincial treasurer from November 2022 until May 2023. He was previously the party's provincial secretary from 2015 until 2018 when he was elected deputy provincial chairperson.
Vicky Knoetze is a South African politician serving as a Member of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature for the Democratic Alliance. She was elected to the provincial legislature in May 2014.
Chantel King is a South African politician and educator. A member of the Democratic Alliance, she was sworn in as a Buffalo City councillor in July 2015. King became a Member of Parliament in November 2016. She then became Shadow Deputy Minister of Science and Technology in January 2017. The 2019 Eastern Cape provincial election was held on 8 May 2019, concurrently with the 2019 South African general election, to elect the 63 members of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature. The election was won by the African National Congress, the incumbent governing party in the province.
Michael Collen Sedibe is a South African politician who is currently a Member of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature and the provincial leader of the legislature's official opposition party, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). He joined the EFF in 2013 after he was expelled from the African National Congress and he was first elected to the provincial legislature in the 2014 general election. In September 2022, he was elected to a third term as the EFF's Provincial Chairperson in Mpumalanga.

Simthembile Madikizela is a South African politician who has been a member of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature since 2023. He is the current provincial secretary of the Economic Freedom Fighters.
Comely Humphrey Maqocwa Maxegwana is a South African politician who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly from 2014 until 2019, when he failed to gain re-election. Before that, he represented the ANC in the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature. He was a prominent trade unionist in the Eastern Cape during apartheid and is also a former Provincial Secretary of the ANC's Eastern Cape branch.
Kgotso Zachariah Morapela is a South African politician for the Economic Freedom Fighters. He was the party's provincial chairman in the Free State until 2018 and represented the party in the National Assembly and the Free State Provincial Legislature.
