Modern Day Jazz Stories is a 1995 album by English saxophonist Courtney Pine. The album was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 1996. [1] The album also helped Pine win a Music of Black Origin Award for best jazz act. [1]

Guru's Jazzmatazz, Vol. 1 is the debut solo studio album by American hip hop recording artist Guru, released on May 18, 1993 on Chrysalis Records. Although known primarily for his saxophone playing, Pine is a multi-instrumentalist, also playing the flute, clarinet, bass clarinet and keyboards.
