Soy Luna - Modo Amar is the fifth and first album of the third season of the Argentine soap opera Soy Luna. The album was released on April 6, 2018 in some Latin American countries and the rest of the world on digital version. [1] [2] [3]

<i>Soy Luna</i> Argentine TV series

Soy Luna was an Argentine telenovela produced by Disney Channel Latin America. The first episode of Soy Luna premiered with over 2.3 million views in Argentina alone. Developed by Disney Channel Latin America and Europe, Asia Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the series stars Karol Sevilla along with Ruggero Pasquarelli. It premiered on March 14, 2016, and concluded on 17 August 2018.

Singles

"Modo Amar" - First track of the album, is the main song of the third season. Performed by Karol Sevilla, Ruggero Pasquarelli, Michael Ronda, Gastón Vietto, Lionel Ferro, Carolina Kopelioff, Katja Martínez, Malena Ratner, Jorge López, Chiara Parravicini and Ana Caram, the song talks about the friendship between the characters. The song appeared in the trailer for the third season of the telenovela and had its lyric-video released on March 22. It was the first single from the album.

Karol Itzitery Piña Cisneros, known professionally as Karol Sevilla, is a Mexican singer, songwriter, actress and YouTuber. She first became known for playing various roles in the series La rosa de Guadalupe. From 2016 to 2018, she played the title character in the Argentine telenovela Soy Luna. Sevilla launched her film career as a voice actress in the animated film from Walt Disney Pictures, Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)

Ruggero Pasquarelli Italian actor, singer

Ruggero Pasquarelli is an Italian singer and actor. In 2010, he took part in the fourth series of the Italian talent show X Factor. He is also known for his performance as Federico in the Argentine telenovela Violetta and as Matteo Balsano in Soy Luna.

Michael Ronda is a Mexican actor and singer known for his role as Poncho in Como dice el dicho and Simón Álvarez in Soy Luna.

"Soy Yo" - Second track of the album, is interpreted by the lead characters of the story, Karol Sevilla. It was released on March 30, and on the same day, the lyric-video of the song was released.

Release

On March 16, 2018, it was released and announced a project (which would launch in a month, four exclusive previews present songs on the album Modo Amar), the program of Disney Channel (Latin America), Disney Planet News. The first preview was on March 16, the lyric-video of the song "Modo Amar", present on the album, and name of the album. The second on March 23, the lyrics-video of the song "Soy Yo".

Disney Channel is a Latin American pay-TV television network broadcasting throughout Latin America and the Caribbean region. It is available as five different feeds, each with different programming schedules and timings. It is mostly marketed to children; however, in recent years the diversity of viewers has expanded to include an older audience. Disney Channel is operated by Disney & ESPN Media Networks Latin America and The Walt Disney Company Latin America, both of which are owned by The Walt Disney Company. It was officially launched in 2000 as a premium-label channel and it became a basic pay-TV network in 2004.

The album includes 16 unpublished songs of the third season, as well as the re-recording of the Mexican classic "Tu Carcel" . And "Nadie Como Tú" and "Mano a Mano", which were part of the soundtrack of the second season of the novel.

In all, there are 19 songs on the album, being the album with more songs of the soap opera (considering that the previous album, La vida es un sueño, is a CD. The album is also the CD with more unpublished songs, since the previous albums of Soy Luna counted on two or three rewrites.
