listen (born 29 July 1992) [1] is an English actress and model, known for her roles as Faith Olubunmi in EastEnders and EastEnders: E20 and Blessing Chambers in Hollyoaks . [2]
Born and raised in London, her name "Modupe" means "I praise or thank God" in Yoruba. [3] [4] She has appeared in the drama series Our Girl and My Murder, as well as Doctors . [5] She later appeared in the 2014 film Honeytrap, alongside former E20 co-star Tosin Cole. [5]
On 21 February 2014, Adeyeye joined the cast of Hollyoaks as Blessing Chambers, and her character was later revealed to be transgender. [6] [7] [8] Blessing began a relationship with Dennis Savage (Joe Tracini), and later found herself competing with Dennis' deceased wife Leanne Holiday (Jessica Forrest), being brutally attacked by evil rapist Finn O'Connor (Keith Rice) and she began self-harming when her family disowned her for being transgender. [9] Her last appearance aired on 21 November 2014. [5] In 2020, Adeyeye is set to appear in the BBC television film Surge as Mischa. [5]

Forrest was a drama and film studies student when she gained the role of Leanne. She made her first appearance in Hollyoaks: Freshers on 26 August 2010 before appearing in the main show. Leanne departed the show on 21 October 2013, when the character was killed off in an explosion as part of the show's eighteenth anniversary celebrations.

Vincent is an illegal immigrant from Nigeria. He left the country to seek refuge fearing persecution because he is gay. The storyline has been described as an original by those involved. The show worked closely with LGBT charity Stonewall to portray the issue. His main scene partners have been Phoebe McQueen and George Smith. The episode formed part of broadcaster Channel 4's Black to Front movement, a day where solely Black-fronted programming was shown. Plans for the episode were initially announced in August 2020 as a response to the protest movement arising from the murder of George Floyd.
