Mohamed Huka Adan was a Kenyan politician and a member of the 11th parliament of Kenya elected from Mandera South Constituency on the ticket of United Republican Party (URP) and with the support of Jubilee Coalition. In the parliament, he served on the house committee on Education, Research and Technology and spoke 63 times in the parliament during the 11th assembly. In the parliament, Mlolwa served on the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade. He was one of the coastal politicians who proposed formation of a Coastal Political Party in 2014 to have a bargaining power with the national government for the benefit of the coastal people. Mlolwa was elected secretary of New Coast Parliamentary Group (CPG) in 2016. He lost his reelection in 2017 and was defeated again in the 2022 parliamentary election by Khamis Chome who polled 9,418 while Mlolwa scored 8,426.

Mohamed Muktar Shidiye is a Kenyan politician and a member of the 8th and 11th Kenyan parliament for Lagdera Constituency, Garissa County. He was first elected to the 8th national assembly in 1997 on the ticket of Kenya African National Union (KANU) party and served as deputy government chief whip of KANU party in the parliament. He was defeated in the 2002 election by Abdillahi Sheikh Dahir and beaten again in 2007 by Farah Maalim whom he had defeated in his first parliamentary election win in 1997. Joseph Samal Lomwa is a Kenyan politician and a member of the 11th Kenyan parliament elected from Isiolo North Constituency on the ticket of United Republican Party (URP) in 2013. He succeeded Mohammed Kuti of the Kenya African National Union (KANU) and Narc-K party. In the parliament, Lomwa served on Public Works, Roads & Transport committee. He did not run for reelection in 2017 as he failed to secure the endorsement of his clan's council of elders.
