Mohamed Osman Ahmed (born 1974) is an Egyptian male weightlifter, competing in the 62 kg category and representing Egypt at international competitions. He competed at world championships, most recently at the 2003 World Weightlifting Championships. [1]

Egypt competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, from 27 July to 12 August 2012, sending one of its largest delegations ever. A total of 110 Egyptian athletes participated in 83 events across 20 sports, with more women taking part than ever before. The nation's flagbearer in the opening ceremonies was Hesham Mesbah, a judoka who was Egypt's only medalist at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Egypt won two medals during the course of the Games: Alaaeldin Abouelkassem earned silver in the men's foil, becoming the first competitor from an African nation to win a fencing medal, while Karam Gaber captured silver in the men's 84 kg Greco-Roman wrestling event. Two Egyptian weightlifters were awarded medals retroactively, after higher-ranked competitors were disqualified for doping: Abeer Abdelrahman took silver in the women's 75 kg event, while Tarek Yehia, received bronze in the men's 85 kg event. Among other achievements, Mostafa Mansour was the nation's first competitor in sprint canoeing while fencer Shaimaa El-Gammal became the first Egyptian female to appear in four editions of the Olympics.

Nahla Ramadan Mohamed is an Egyptian weightlifter and the pioneer of weightlifting in Egypt, Africa and the Arab world. She competed for Egypt at the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics. At the 2004 Summer Olympics, competing in the heavyweight division, she did not finish the competition, being unable to register a lift in the clean and jerk. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the super-heavyweight category and finished fifth.

Gaber Ahmed Farhan Mohamed is an Egyptian male weightlifter, competing in the 105 kg category and representing Egypt at international competitions. He participated in the men's 105 kg event at the 2015 World Weightlifting Championships, and at the 2016 Summer Olympics, finishing in twelfth position. Mohamed also won the gold medal in the same weight category at the 2015 African Games.

Mohamed participated in the men's +105 kg event at the 2015 World Weightlifting Championships, and at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where he failed to register a single lift in all three attempts of the clean and jerk phase.

Mohamed Ihsan Attia Massoud is an Egyptian male weightlifter, competing in the +105 kg category and representing Egypt at international competitions. He competed at world championships, including at the 2015 World Weightlifting Championships. He participated at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the +105 kg event. He won the gold medal at the 2011 Summer Universiade, but was disqualified for using the forbidden substance methylhexanamine.

Mohamed Moussa El Dib is an Egyptian male weightlifter, competing in the 94 kg category and representing Egypt at international competitions. He participated at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the 94 kg event. He competed at world championships, most recently at the 2003 World Weightlifting Championships.

Mohamed Ahmed Geisa was an Egyptian male weightlifter, who competed in the heavyweight class and represented Egypt at international competitions. He won the bronze medal at the 1946 and 1951 World Weightlifting Championships in the +90 kg category. He also competed in weightlifting at the 1936 Summer Olympics.
