Mohammed Tahir is a Pakistani police officer who is currently serving as the Inspector General of Police in Punjab. [1] Prior to his appointment as IG for Punjab, he served as IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A 16th batch of civil services, he originally joined police service in 1988 as an assistant superintendent. [2]

Latif Khosa

From 1997 to 1999, he was an elected Member of the National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan from NA-73, Bhakkar. He was renowned for his public services not only in his district but also nationwide. The 1911 Delhi Durbar was held in December 1911 following the coronation in London in June of that year of King George V and Queen Mary. The King and Queen travelled to Delhi for the Durbar. For the occasion, the statutory limits of the membership of the Order of the Star of India and the Order of the Indian Empire were increased and many appointments were made to these and other orders. These honours were published in a supplement to the London Gazette dated 8 December 1911.
