Raja Rao was an Indian-American writer of English-language novels and short stories, whose works are deeply rooted in metaphysics. The Serpent and the Rope (1960), a semi-autobiographical novel recounting a search for spiritual truth in Europe and India, established him as one of the finest Indian prose stylists and won him the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1963. For the entire body of his work, Rao was awarded the Neustadt International Prize for Literature in 1988. Rao's wide-ranging body of work, spanning a number of genres, is seen as a varied and significant contribution to Indian English literature, as well as World literature as a whole.
Mary Brave Bird, also known as Mary Brave Woman Olguin and Mary Crow Dog was a Sicangu Lakota writer and activist who was a member of the American Indian Movement during the 1970s and participated in some of their most publicized events, including the Wounded Knee Incident when she was 18 years old.

Rama Rao, Rajinikanth, Radha Saluja and Subhashini, with music composed by Satyam. It was also Rajinikanth's 50th film as an actor. The film is a remake of the Hindi film Khoon Pasina (1977).
Devi Garh Palace is a heritage hotel and resort, housed in the 18th-century Devi Garh palace in the village of Delwara. It was the royal residence of the rulers of Delwara principality, from the mid-18th century till the mid-20th century. Bhanumathi wrote the story, for the first time.

Ramu is a 1968 Indian Telugu-language drama film produced by AVM Productions and directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao and Jamuna with Master Rajkumar in the title role reprising his role from the Tamil film. The film's music was composed by R. Govardhanam. It is a remake of the Hindi film Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Mein (1964), which was first remade as the Tamil film of the same name (1966). The film was a silver jubilee hit.

The Serpent and the Rope is Raja Rao's second novel. It was first published in 1960 by John Murray. Written in an autobiographical style, the novel deals with the concepts of existence, reality, and fulfillment of one's capabilities. The protagonist Ramaswamy's thought process in the novel is said to be influenced by vedantic philosophy and Adi Shankara's non-dualism. It also deals with the problems of the Immigrants and Immigration.

Aada Brathuku is a 1965 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by S. S. Vasan of Gemini Studios and directed by Vedantam Raghavayya. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Kantha Rao and Devika, with the music composed by the duo Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy. The duo parted ways later, making this their last joint appearance in a Telugu film. The film is a remake of the studio's own Hindi film Zindagi (1964).
Delwara, nestled in the Aravalli Range hills, is a small town about 28 kms away from Udaipur, Mewar, and close to Eklingji Temple, on the way to the temple town of Nathdwara, in the state of Rajasthan, India. Delwara was originally known as ‘Devkul Patan Nagri’, which means the town of god. It boasted over 1500 temples at one time, out of which there were over 400 Jain temples. Delwara was the center of learning and culture before the 15th century AD. Around the middle of the 13th century, Raja Sagar, a Deora Chauhan and a descendant of Rao Kirtipal of Jalore, was a very brave king of Delwara (Mewar). Descendants of Raja Sagar sacrificed their lives whilst fighting alongside Ranas of Mewar against Muslim invaders. Raja Sagar was the progenitor of Bachhawat and Bothra clan of Oswals. Sagar's son, Kunwar Bohitya was immensely influenced and inspired by Jain philosophy. Samdhar, a grandson of Bohitya and a Deora Chauhan, was the first man in his genealogy to convert to Jainism.
