A vice president of Iran is defined by article 124 of the Constitution of Iran as anyone appointed by the President of Iran to lead an organization related to presidential affairs in Iran. As of August 2019,there are twelve vice presidents. The first vice president leads cabinet meetings in the absence of the president.
The Cabinet of Iran is a formal body composed of government officials,ministers,chosen and led by the President of Iran. Its composition must be approved by a vote in parliament. According to the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran,a president may dismiss members of the cabinet,but must do so in writing,and new appointees must again be approved by parliament. The cabinet meets weekly on Saturdays in Tehran. There may be additional meetings as circumstances require. The president chairs them. The Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei has the power to dismiss cabinet members like ministers,vice presidents and presidents at any time,regardless of parliamentary decisions.
Bijan Allipour was an Iranian business executive and upstream oil and gas expert. He was an advisor to the Petroleum Minister of Iran in development projects. He was chairman and CEO of National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) from 2014 to 2018. Allipour was also a member of the board of directors of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). He had earlier been the senior executive vice president of NISOC,which he had joined in 1979.
Marzieh Shah-Daei was the Deputy Minister of Petroleum from 2017 to 2019. As an Iranian engineer,she was the former Executive Director of National Petrochemical Company,as well as "Vice Minister of Petroleum on Petrochemical affairs" from 2016 to 2017.
Order of Service is an Iranian state general order. For the first time,it was established and awarded during the Pahlavi dynasty and during the reign of Reza Shah. After Iranian Revolution it was re-established by "Council of Iran Ministers" in November 21,1990. The order has three classes. According to Article 12 of the Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders of Iran,the Order of Service awarded by President of Iran to recognize "achieving distinguished success" in one of the following:
- Truly and consistent efforts in accomplishing responsibility and servitude
- Aiding the oppressed and deprived people
Nasrollah Sajjadi is an Iranian politician and sports administrator who served as Vice and Acting Minister of Sports. He was acting Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports from 19 October until 1 November 2016. He assumed office after the resignation of Mahmoud Goudarzi and holds it until approval of the new minister. He was secretary-general of National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran and President of the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran in the 1980s and 1990s. He was also a member of the financial committee of Olympic Council of Asia and deputy Head of Physical Education Organization.
Alireza Nasiri is an Iranian academic,business manager and technocrat. He played a leading role in the establishment of online degree programs in Iran in the early 2000s,founding University of Tehran's first online program and advocated for e-government in Iran. He was general director of planning and development in Iran's Ministry of Cooperatives between 2004 and 2005 while also serving as acting Vice Minister. In 2018 he served as CEO of Iran's Maku Free Trade Zone until 2020. Between 2020 and 2022 he was the chief executive officer of the National Industrial Group,a public company with the Iranian Social Security Fund as its main shareholder. Nasiri merged the National Industrial Group's large real estate holdings with a centralized electronic system for online sales and management during COVID-19 quarantines.

Mohammad Mokhber is an Iranian politician who became acting president of Iran after the death of President Ebrahim Raisi in the Varzaqan helicopter crash on 19 May 2024. Mokhber was also the 7th First Vice President of Iran from 2021 to 2024. He is also the current member of the Expediency Discernment Council.
The Order of Work and Production is one of the badges of honor in Iran,established by "Council of Iran Ministers" on November 21,1990. The order has three classes,and is awarded by President of Iran. According to "Article 13" of the "Regulations on the Awarding of Government Orders" of Iran,the "Order of Work and Production" is awarded to persons who have achieved remarkable results in industry or agriculture in one of the following areas:
- Increasing the production capacity of the country in terms of quantity and quality
- Proper use of technical facilities and economic resources
- Designing or implementing important industrial and agricultural projects
- Innovations and inventions to improve working and production practices and increase productivity
- Raising the level of technical and professional knowledge
- Creating the best Islamic and human relations in the workplace
Ahmad Sobhani is a retired Iranian diplomat who previously served as Iran's ambassador to Venezuela (2001–06) and Gabon (1995–98),in addition to chargéd'affaires in Armenia (1993–94). He also served as the deputy foreign minister for European and American Affairs under Manouchehr Mottaki (2007–10).
