Mona Brorsson (born 28 March 1990) is a Swedish former biathlete. She was part of the Swedish Olympic champion relay team in 2022. She competed in the World Cup for more than ten seasons representing Sweden. She has expressed her intentions to retire after the 2023/24 World Cup season. [1]

Brorsson's achievements include winning a silver medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, silver medal at the 2019 world championships, and a gold medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics. [1]

Laura Dahlmeier is a retired German biathlete. Dahlmeier started in her first world cup races in the 2012/13 season. In 2014, she participated in the Winter Olympics in Sochi. She won a record of five gold medals at the World Championships of 2017. In 2018 she became the first woman to win the biathlon sprint and pursuit in the same Olympics. During her career she has won a total of two golds and one bronze at the Olympics, seven gold medals, three silver medals and five bronze medals at World Championships, one overall World Cup and two discipline World Cup titles. Dahlmeier announced her retirement from competition in May 2019, at the age of 25. In October 2019, she released a children's book.

Vanessa Hinz is a former German biathlete and cross-country skier. Hinz started in her first world cup races at the end of the 2012/13-season. She was officially nominated by the DOSB on 23 January 2014, but not taken with the team to Russia. So she had to wait at home as stand-by reserve.

The Women's relay competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 16 February, at the National Biathlon Centre, in the Zhangjiakou cluster of competition venues, 180 kilometres (110 mi) north of Beijing, at an elevation of 1,665 metres (5,463 ft). Linn Persson, Mona Brorsson, Hanna Öberg, and Elvira Öberg of Sweden won the event, with the Russian Olympic Committee winning the silver medal, and Germany bronze. This was the first Olympic gold in women's relay for Sweden.
