The Cabinet of Monrad was the government of Denmark from 31 December 1863 to 11 July 1864, and was in power in the beginning of the Second Schleswig War.

Anders Sandøe Ørsted was a Danish lawyer, politician and jurist. He served as the Prime Minister of Denmark in 1853–1854.
Ditlev Gothard Monrad was a Danish politician and bishop, and a founding father of Danish constitutional democracy; he also led the country as Council President in its huge defeat during the Second Schleswig War. Later, he became a New Zealand pioneer before returning to Denmark to become a bishop and politician once more.

Thomas Højrup is a Danish ethnologist. Højrup is Professor of Ethnology at the University of Copenhagen. His primary focus is the development of new concepts of life-mode analysis, with conceptual history and politics also prominently figured in his work. He has directed a large scale research project on the formation of life modes and welfare states. Other research interests include epistemological questions in the social sciences, and everyday life of distinct life-modes in modern Europe and in the fishing industry.
Hjalmar Frederik Christian Kiærskou, sometimes also stated as Hjalmar Kiaerskov, was a Danish botanist.
Ragnhild Caroline Monrad was a Norwegian singer, actress and poet. She studied singing in Dresden, stayed in Berlin for a long time, toured with Edvard Grieg, performed for King Oscar II, Haakon VII and Emperor William II. She was a very popular opera singer in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany.
Albert Küchler, O.F.M., was a Danish painter associated with the Danish Golden Age. He mainly painted genre works and portraits. He was highly esteemed by his contemporaries but is little known today. Later in life, he converted to Catholicism and became a member of the Order of Friars Minor

The Diocese of Lolland–Falster is a diocese within the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Denmark. It comprises Lolland and Falster as well as a number of smaller islands in the south-eastern corner of Denmark. The diocese was disjoined from the Diocese of Funen in 1803 and is the smallest of the 10 dioceses within the Danish state church. The main church is Maribo Cathedral in Maribo but the bishop resides in Nykøbing Falster.
