Monte Patrick Montgomery (born August 11, 1966) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, [1] at age 13 he moved to San Antonio, Texas. [2]
The Austin, Texas based guitarist first gained notoriety in 1999, after performing on an episode of the PBS series Austin City Limits. [3] He was named one of the "Top 50 All-Time Greatest Guitar Players" by Guitar Player Magazine and won the "Best Acoustic Guitar Player" Award at the Austin Chronicle's Austin Music Awards seven years in a row. Montgomery composed for the ABC TV series Last Man Standing. [5] Montgomery authored music for the criminal drama Arc (2006) [6] In 2008, Monte appeared on the music show Live From Daryl's House.[ citation needed ]
In 2004, Alvarez Guitars created the MMY1 Monte Montgomery Signature Guitar, a model based on Montgomery's 1987 Alvarez-Yairi DY62C Acoustic-Electric Guitar. [7]
Monte has four children and in March 2009, his eldest daughter, Sofia Anna Mondini [8] died in an accidental handgun incident. [9] [10] [11]

Douglas Wayne Sahm was an American musician, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in San Antonio, Texas. Sahm is regarded as one of the main figures of Tex-Mex music, and as an important performer of Texan Music. He gained fame along with his band, the Sir Douglas Quintet, with a top-twenty hit in the United States and the United Kingdom with "She's About a Mover" (1965). Girl In a Coma was an American indie rock band from San Antonio, Texas, United States, formerly on Joan Jett's Blackheart Records label. The band consisted of Nina (vocals/guitar), Phanie Diaz (drums) and Jenn Alva (bass). The name is a reference to the Smiths' song "Girlfriend in a Coma". Before they were called Girl in a Coma, they were known as Sylvia's Radio and Girls in a Coma.
The Complete Recordings is a compilation album by American Delta blues musician Robert Johnson. The 41 songs were recorded in two sessions in Dallas and San Antonio, Texas for the American Record Company (ARC) during 1936 and 1937. Most were first released on 78 rpm records in 1937. The Complete Recordings, released August 28, 1990, by Columbia Records, contains every recording Johnson is known to have made, with the exception of an alternate take of "Travelling Riverside Blues".

Monte Lee Pittman is an American musician, songwriter and studio musician based in Los Angeles, known largely as Madonna's long-time guitarist and for playing for heavy metal band Prong. He has also appeared in the documentary Who the F**K Is Arthur Fogel? Pittman also professionally teaches guitar lessons and exclusively uses the Jamplay Teaching App.

She is known for her acrobatic and energetic performances often incorporating her trademark high kick, and her signature ponytails and onstage baby voice. One-Eyed Doll officially retired on May 21st, 2021 after a lengthy hiatus.
