The Montreal Open was a golf tournament on the Canadian Tour that was held in the Greater Montreal area, Quebec, Canada between 2004 and 2009.

Founded as the Greater Montreal Open in 2004, the event was sponsored by Lexus the following year and titled the Lexus Montreal Open. In 2006, Montreal Casino was the title sponsor and the tournament was designated as the Canadian Tour's "Players Championship". Between 2007 until it ended in 2009, it was sponsored by the Desjardins Group and titled as the Desjardins Montreal Open.

An earlier event with the same name was played in 1945 and won by Byron Nelson. [1] [2]

It was first played 116 years ago in 1904, and has been held annually since then, except for during World War I and World War II. Hong Kong Open (golf) golf tournament

The Hong Kong Open is a golf tournament which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour. It was founded in 1959 and in 1962 was one of the five tournaments that made up the inaugural Far East Circuit, later known as the Asia Golf Circuit. It remained part of the circuit until 1996, before joining the Asian Tour, then known as the Omega Tour, in 1997. It became co-sanctioned by the European Tour in 2001, as part of the 2002 season.

Greater Milwaukee Open

The Greater Milwaukee Open was a regular golf tournament in Wisconsin on the PGA Tour. For 42 years, it was played annually in the Milwaukee area, the final sixteen editions in the north suburb of Brown Deer at the Brown Deer Park Golf Course. U.S. Bancorp was the main sponsor of the tournament in its final years and the last purse in 2009 was $4 million, with a winner's share of $720,000. The event was run by Milwaukee Golf Charities, Inc., with proceeds going to a variety of Wisconsin charities.

The Ontario Open Heritage Classic was a golf tournament on the Canadian Tour that was held in Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1999, three years after the long-standing Ontario Open was last played, and ran for four years, through 2002. It was hosted at a different venue every year.
