Moritz Wesemann (born 10 May 2002) is a German diver. He is the 2023 European champion in the 3 metre springboard event. [1]
Wesemann participated in the 2021 FINA World Junior Diving Championships, where he won a silver medal in the 1 m springboard event. [2] He qualified for the final of the 3 m springboard event at the 2022 word championships in Budapest. Due to a positive test for COVID-19 he had to withdraw from the final. [3]
At the 2023 European Diving Championships, Wesemann won his first major international medal with gold in the 3 metre springboard event in front of Jules Bouyer and Alexis Jandard. With his gold medal, he secured a quota place for Germany at the 2024 Summer Olympics. [4]

Shi Tingmao is a Chinese diver representing Chongqing diving team. She has been dominant in the 3 metre springboard events in the 2010s. Jack David Laugher is a British diver competing for Great Britain and England. A specialist on springboard, he competes in individual springboard events, and in synchronised events with Chris Mears, Daniel Goodfellow and Anthony Harding. Laugher and Mears became Britain's first diving Olympic champions by winning a gold medal in the men's synchronised 3m springboard event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, an achievement many had expected double world 10m champion Tom Daley would achieve first. A week later, Laugher won a silver in the men's individual 3m springboard at the same Games, becoming the first British diver to win multiple Olympic diving medals at the same Games.
Bryan Nickson Lomas is a former Malaysian diver. Lomas was the youngest Malaysian athlete to qualify for 2004 Summer Olympics when he was 14. He became the country's first world junior diving champion after winning gold at the 3 m springboard event in the World Junior Championships held at Belem, Brazil in 2004. He trained under the coaching of Yang Zhuliang. Lomas is named after the footballer Bryan Robson by his father.
Daniel Goodfellow is a British diver, two-time Commonwealth champion and Olympic bronze medalist. He first represented Great Britain as a senior at the 2013 European Diving Championships in the 10 m platform event and the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in the same event. Goodfellow won a bronze medal in the Men's 10m Synchronised Platform event with his diving partner Tom Daley at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He has also won a gold with Daley in the same event at the Commonwealth Games, and a silver at the European Championships. In 2022 he won his first major title as a solo diver, winning gold in the men's 3 metre springboard at the 2022 Commonwealth Games

Matthew Lee is a British diver and Olympic gold medallist. Adept in both individual and synchronised diving, and across both 3-metre springboard and platform, Lee won the gold medal in 10-metre platform at the 2015 European Games, the mixed 10-metre synchronised platform at the 2017 European Diving Championships and has twice been European junior champion on the 3-metre springboard. At world level, Lee won the silver medal in the mixed 10-metre synchronised platform event at the 2017 World Championships, and at the 2019 World Championships, Lee and Tom Daley won bronze in the 10 m synchro event, as well as gold in July 2021 at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

This article details the qualifying phase for diving at the 2024 Summer Olympics. The competition at these Games will comprise a total of 136 divers coming from their respective NOCs; each can enter a maximum of two divers per gender in the individual events and a gender-based pair in the synchronized events, respecting a sixteen-member country limit. To be eligible for the Games, all divers must be 14 years old and above on or before December 31, 2023; and must participate in various international meets approved by World Aquatics.

The 2023 European Diving Championships will be held in Rzeszów, Poland from 22 to 28 June 2023. This will be the seventh edition of the stand-alone Championships, and the 42nd European Championships in diving in total, including the diving portion of the European Aquatics Championships. For the first time, the championships will be integrated into the 2023 European Games; the diving portion of the 2018 European Aquatics Championships had previously been integrated into the 2018 European Championships multi-sport event, while the European Junior Diving Championships previously formed part of the 2015 European Games program.
