Production

The project was first announced in March 2023. David Lowery will write and direct the film, and Michaela Coel and Anne Hathaway were announced to star. Music will be composed by Daniel Hart, with original songs being provided by musicians Jack Antonoff and Charli XCX. [2] In May, Hunter Schafer joined the cast. [3] FKA Twigs was revealed to have a role in the film in March 2024. [4]

Filming began in Germany in May 2023. [5] In July, the production was granted a waiver to continue filming during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. [6] On July 20, 2024, Hathaway announced that filming had just wrapped. [7]
