Movement 98 was a Paul Oakenfold project on Circa Records, built around the vocals of Carroll Thompson, and also featuring input from Steve Osbourne and Rob Davis. Their debut single, "Joy and Heartbreak", was a mid-paced soul release, based on the melody of Erik Satie's "Les Trois Gymnopedie". It reached #27 in the UK Singles Chart in May 1990. [1]

Sub Pop is a record label founded in 1986 by Bruce Pavitt and Jonathan Poneman. 98 Degrees is an American pop and R&B vocal group consisting of four vocalists: the group's founding member Jeff Timmons, brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, and Justin Jeffre. The group was formed by Timmons in Los Angeles, California, although all of its members originate from Ohio.

The Singles 86>98 is a compilation album by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was released on 28 September 1998 by Mute Records. It serves as a follow-up to the band's previous compilation, The Singles 81→85, which was also reissued in the same year. The compilation covers the band's seven-inch single releases spanning five studio albums, while including the new song "Only When I Lose Myself". It also includes "Little 15" and the live version of "Everything Counts", which was released as a single in 1989. All tracks on The Singles 86>98 were newly remastered, as was the case with the re-release of The Singles 81→85.

98 Degrees and Rising is the second album released by American boy band 98 Degrees. It was recorded at Blue Wave Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and released by Motown on October 20, 1998. The album features the singles "Because of You" and "The Hardest Thing", which peaked at No. 3 and No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively. The album also features two covers, Mark Wills' "I Do " and "She's Out of My Life", made famous by Michael Jackson. It also features a duet with label mate Stevie Wonder, "True to Your Heart", which was featured on the soundtrack of the 1998 Disney film Mulan, as well as the song "Fly with Me", which was featured on the soundtrack album for the 1999 film Pokémon: The First Movie. "This Gift" is the first single released by American boy band 98 Degrees from their third studio album, This Christmas. It was written by Anders Bagge, Arnthor Birgisson, Dane Deviller, and Sean Hosein and released during Christmastime of 1999. The single peaked at number 49 in the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 14 on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart.

"My Everything" is the second single released by American boy band 98 Degrees from their third studio album, Revelation. "My Everything" did not achieve the success of their previous single, "Give Me Just One Night ", but did reach the top 40 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
