Mpeke Town is a Ugandan-Kenyan television and radio drama series that premiered in Uganda on June 11, 2018. The first season of the series aired on Urban TV Uganda in English, Bukedde TV and Bukedde radio in Luganda. It was produced by Kenyan producer Patricia Gichinga under Kenyan production company The Mediae Company known for Shamba Shape Up and Makutano Junction. [2]

Plot

Having failed at success in the big city, Isaiah returns to his little village town Kabulondo Mpeke where his encounter with the determined Isabella thrusts him into a whirlwind of possibility and he discovers the untapped potential in agribusiness. [3]

The show premiered on NTV Uganda in 2011 and ran for four seasons. The fourth season which was titled Serenity saw a fresh new cast and in a new hostel. The season premiered on 23 February 2015.

The series is about the lives of young women, the mistakes they make in their lives, the consequences they face and the lessons they learn.

The Honourables is a Ugandan political satire-drama series that premiered on NTV Uganda on 9 January 2017, starring Hellen Lukoma, Symon Base Kalema, Aisha Kyomuhangi, Philip Luswata, Malaika, Doreen Mirembe, Candy Mutesi, Patricko Mujuuka and singer Stecia Mayanja. The series which was also later picked up by Pearl Magic in 2018 exposes the vices of MPs and other government officials who frequent a local bar in Kampala, showing their greed, corruption, adultery and many other vices.

Prickly Roses is a Ugandan drama film produced by Eleanor Nabwiso and directed by Mathew Nabwiso at Nabwiso Films in association with Akina Mama Wa Afrika, supported by Hivos. It stars Hellen Lukoma as Nankya, Eleanor Nabwiso as Nazziwa and Sarafina Muhawenimana as Kezia.

Diana Nabatanzi is a Ugandan film entertainer, radio personality, TV presenter, film maker, essayist, chief and a scriptwriter. She is as of now a moderator at BBS terefayina where she has different shows including a morning show called sumulula, kasukali and uga hood show.
