"Much Too Much" is the fourth release from electronica duo Andain,and the second promotional single taken from the subsequent studio album, You Once Told Me .
The single was initially released as a digital download on January 30,2012,featuring the album version of the song,a chillout remix by Zetandel,and a radio edit. [1] A second issue with additional remixes was later released on February 27,2012,which featured two drum and bass remixes by Relay &Front and Rido,and a drumstep remix by Shreddward &Exceed. [2] Also,defining a third issue of the single,a trance remix by Mike Shiver was released on April 23,2012. [3]
The song's official music video premièred on February 2,2012,on YouTube,three days after the single's initial release. [4] An alternative version of the video was later released on March 13,2012,which featured the remix by Zetandel. Simultaneously,the remix in question was also being promoted as a free download. [5]
Starring Andain's Mavie Marcos and guest star Jonathan Stoddard, [6] the music video is set around the story of a couple in love;however,being gradually saturated by the contrast of their breakup. In between the storyline,Mavie is also seen performing a theatre dance,with the respective scenes shot at Marin Ballet in San Rafael,CA. The rest of the video shoot was done in Nicasio. [7]
The music video was produced and choreographed by Melinda Darlington-Bach and Cynthia Pepper of Xanadu Entertainment,LLC,in collaboration with director Jamie Redford. Cinematography was conducted by Tylor Norwood,while the final editing was done by Remedy Editorial,LLC. [6]
Andain was a San Francisco-based electronic music duo,originally formed in 2000. They broke through in 2002 after being discovered by DJ Tiësto,reaching clubbers worldwide with their singles "Summer Calling" in 2002 and "Beautiful Things" in 2003. The band members initially included producer Josh Gabriel,singer and songwriter Mavie Marcos,and guitarist David Penner,before the group disbanded in 2006. Andain returned again in 2011 as Josh and Mavie,making their comeback with the single "Promises". The successive year saw the release of the band's first and only full-length album,on September 12,2012,following a year of touring and performing. Andain was eventually concluded in 2014.
"Beautiful Things" is the second release by Andain. It first appeared on Tiësto's compilation album Nyana,released May 6,2003,and was later published as a single via Black Hole,on October 27,2003.

"Dangerous" is the second single in the UK &Ireland but third overall to be released by Cascada from their third studio album Evacuate the Dancefloor. The music video was uploaded to YouTube by the UK record company All Around The World records on the August 17,2009. The single was released in the United Kingdom on October 12,2009.
Mavie Marcos is an American singer and songwriter. As part of Andain,Mavie has written songs in partnership with Josh Gabriel since 2001,better known for their early singles "Summer Calling" (2002) and "Beautiful Things" (2003),and the 2012 debut album You Once Told Me. As of July 10,2014,Mavie has also signed with Black Hole to start off the production of a solo album.
"Promises" is the third single from Andain,and remarks a comeback after eight years since their previous release. It's also the first promotional single taken from the duo's debut album,You Once Told Me.
"Turn Up the Sound" is the fifth release from Andain,marking the third and last promotional single prior to the duo's debut album,You Once Told Me.
"You'll Be Mine" is a song by Australian DJ and recording artist,Havana Brown featuring Dutch DJ R3hab. It was released in July 2012 as the second single from her When the Lights Go Out EP. The song failed to impact the ARIA Singles Chart as sales counted towards the When the Lights Go Out EP.
You Once Told Me is the first officially released studio album from Andain,succeeding ten years of various works and performances.
"Not Giving In" is a song by British drum and bass band Rudimental. It features the vocals from John Newman and Alex Clare. The song was released in the United Kingdom on 18 November 2012 as the third single from their debut studio album,Home. It came in at number 16 in the 2012 Hottest 100,announced on Australia Day 2013. It was featured in the first episode of season three of Teen Wolf. The song was also used in a 2014 FIFA World Cup commercial for Mercedes-Benz sponsoring the German National Football Team. The song is also featured in the Scottish Government's advertising for keeping up with COVID-19 restrictions.
