Muhammad Aslam Abro is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh from August 2018 till August 2023.
He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh as a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from PS-1 (Jacobabad-I) in the 2018 Sindh provincial election. [1] He received 36,896 votes and defeated Mir Aurang Zaib Panhwar,a candidate of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).
On 11 March 2021 was expelled from the PTI for voting against his party's candidates in the 2021 Pakistani Senate election. [2]
On 26 October 2023,he joined the PPP. [3]
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is a political party in Pakistan established in 1996 by Pakistani cricketer and politician Imran Khan,who served as the country's prime minister from 2018 to 2022. The PTI ranks among the three major Pakistani political parties alongside the Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML–N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP),and it is the largest party in terms of representation in the National Assembly of Pakistan since the 2018 general election. Sardar Nabil Ahmed Gabol is a Pakistani politician who has been a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since 2024. Previously he had been a member of the National Assembly from 2002 to 2015 and a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh from 1988 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 1996. He served as Minister of State for Ports and Shipping from 2008 to 2011 and as Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly from 1993 to 1996.
Raja Riaz Ahmed Khan is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from August 2018 till August 2023. Previously,he was the Punjab Minister for Irrigation and Power and was also the member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab between 1993 and 2013. He had been the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly of Pakistan from May 2022 till August 2023.
General elections were held in Pakistan on 25 July 2018 to elect the members of the 15th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties were Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI),led by Imran Khan,the Pakistan Muslim League,led by Shehbaz Sharif,and the Pakistan People's Party,led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the most seats in the National Assembly but fell short of a majority;the party subsequently formed a coalition government with several smaller parties. At the provincial level,the PTI remained the largest party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP);the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) retained its dominance in Sindh;and the newly formed Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan. In Punjab,the result was a hung parliament,with the Pakistan Muslim League (N) winning the most seats. However,after several independent MPAs joined the PTI,the latter became the largest party and was able to form a government.
Dawar Khan Kundi is a Pakistani politician who was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from September 2013 to May 2018.
Presidential elections were held in Pakistan on 4 September 2018. The elections saw Arif Alvi of PTI being elected as the 13th president of Pakistan after defeating Fazal-ur-Rehman of MMA and Aitzaz Ahsan of PPP. Although incumbent president Mamnoon Hussain,whose term was to expire on 9 September 2018,was eligible for re-election,he declined to take part.
The triennial Senate Electionsof Pakistan were held on 3 March 2018 to replace 52 retiring senators - half of the Senate's strength - with the winning candidates serving six-year terms. It was founded on 23 October 2017 as a political movement against the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government in Sindh,accusing it of poor governance,fascism and corruption. The alliance claims that the people of Sindh are unhappy with the PPP government.

On 2 November 2023,the Election Commission of Pakistan announced,in agreement with the President of Pakistan,Arif Alvi,that the elections should be held on 8 February 2024. This election was held concurrently with nationwide general elections and other provincial elections.

Indirect Presidential elections were held in Pakistan on 9 March 2024 to select the 14th President of Pakistan,who is the country's head of state. Asif Ali Zardari of the Pakistan People's Party was elected as President,defeating Mahmood Khan Achakzai of the PTI-backed Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) alliance. Outgoing President Arif Alvi was eligible for re-election but did not contest for a second term.
